Contest on my site seeking photos.

Post by Thunder »

I have a contest going right now seeking pictures of your best scratch built war gamming stuff. Photos of micro armor or other war games are equally encouraged. Submit a photo, get voted best, and get two free GHQ blister packs from me. Thanks!

I hope GHQ is OK with this.

That would be "well and good" but for two problems...

There wasn't a code contained within the small box with a little "X" in it that was supposed to be some sort of varification code..., which normally means the webmaster hasn't updated the picture/code to make it workable... OR perhaps you don't really want me to participate...?

Also tried to e-mail the site administrator about the above and got this... :?

There appears to be some sort of problem with access and your e-mail which is not good when you are asking for participation that requires registration...

Tried again today.

Cannot register in order to become a member of the site...

Where the secret code is supposed to be there is a small box with an "X" in it which usually indicates a picture, that was once there, is not on the net any more.

Do you have any suggestions how to fix this problem?

I am using Windows XP and AOL service... The problem is that your site doesn't take AOL I guess... becasue I was just able to get on via Microsoft Internet Explorer...

Since all my work stuff goes through AOL I guess I will not be able to participate.

Tried again via M/E and was able to register, but am unable to post becasue the system keeps bumping me back to the "Log on" screen.

I've wasted over an hour of painting time... :?

If you ever make your system available to all of us I may try again but until that time I'm done... just don't have the time to keep trying again and again. Nice Idea though... :(

Send me a PM with a link to your photo of your work and I'll post it for you. Or just post the photos to this thread, and I'll get the photos and post them there. Thanks for trying. As for AOL, I'm sorry you have to use them. Not taking this conversation down that dark path though.

Long story short... post the pictures and I'll make sure your in. From what I've seen you post here, you do some good stuff. Thanks, Chris.
