Actually, Battle Stations! Battle Stations! is published by Decision Games, not GHQ.

http://www.decisiongames.com/html/miniatures_rules.html

retails for $29.95

Has anyone seen a review of it? All I see are people asking questions about it, but nobody wants to plunk down the cash to get it!

I'd be interested to hear how it plays. An 80 page rulebook, even allowing for ship data, doesn't make me jump up & down.

Just wondering if anyone had taken the plunge and could give a brief overview or AAR?

Actually, according to boardgamegeek's website, GHQ IS a publisher of Battle Stations! Battle Stations!, along with decision games. I'm still waiting for an answer to a thread I posted earlier, asking about the availability of this game through GHQ. Unless the boardgamegeek site was wrong, which is possible.

This is most definitely NOT a GHQ product, and we will not be selling it. We have our own set of WWII naval rules for which the layout has just begun. These have been playtested for several years, and at many conventions. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a ETA, but when we do, we will post it.

Thanks,
GHQ

Can you give us any hints about scale, measuring, ect...? I'm wanting to get into WW2 naval gaming, and I was kinda psyched up about a rule set put out by GHQ. Too bad the site was wrong about you guys being a co-publisher. I guess I'll have to wait...

GHQ,

I had a chance to play your new "soon to be released" 1:2400 scale WWII naval rules at Historicon in July. I believe it will be called "Flagship?"

I really enjoyed the game rules!

I just returned from Hurricon 2006, hosted by the good folks at HMGS-South this past weekend in beautiful Orlando Florida, and saw that they held another play test session for your game rules.

The game was very well received and had more than enough participants too.

I am really looking forward to your release of these rules!

Also, you guys should really plan to come down to Recon in April (also held in Orlando Florida) to set up a booth. We have tons of naval gamers in Florida and would really welcome a naval miniatures vendor like GHQ! :D

The folks at HMGS-South Chapter put on the best conventions (Recon in late April and Hurricon in late September) I have ever attended. And the new location in Orlando is awesome! Just miles from Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World theme parks too. So plenty of things for the entire family to do as well. By April, the weather will be perfect! :D

Here's a link to HMGS-South's website:

So, come on down!

Scott
