ok, here's my first attempts at infantry. These are a work in progress, just waiting on the clear coat for protection and the dull-cote to matte them nicely.
although the extra light from the camera flash and worklights doesn't show it, i think i mixed my wash a little too dark. Some of the guys came out like little gray blobs. i may just skip this step in the future. i really don't want to redo all these

and don't ask what happened to that one grenade-thrower's face, i must've missed a spot with the flesh color. oh, no wait, that's a 5 o'clock shadow i painted on his face, yeah, that's it!

CountRingworm,
I don't see any reason to re-do them... they look pretty darned good to me!!
And as an aside... I see I'm not the only one to use a block of wood with holes drilled in it to hold my "models on a nail" for painting!
Keep up the good work -- and thanks for posting your pictures!!
Regards,
Tom Stockton

don't redo them
Hey Count, no need to redo them. They look good. 90% of what you see in these pictures will never be seen on the table. Even if you pick them up and use glasses you won't see the face. Is just that these digital cameras pick up way too much.
I posted some ACU camo ealier,on these I painted sunglasses on them, well looking at them in the picture I noticed that the sunglasses covered one of the guys nose.Table top wise you don't even know they are wearing them.
Good job keep up the good work.

Otherwise, your infantry are awesome.
