I would add another request for Axis "minor powers" (no offense intended!)-
Infantry, weapons, & gunners for Romania and Hungary.
Kneeling gunners for everyone, even just the 4-man groups included with some of the atg's sold separately. (Can those be ordered "loose" as parts?)

Here, here...I concur with this notion.
Let it be known that Modern German Infantry is being called forth.

I propose a new wish for 2007-8-9-etc....

The "civilian pack", good both for WWII and modern times. The pack should include civilians (paesants and citizens), animals (cows, pigs, dogs), red cross personnell (doctors, nurses, barrel bearers, wonded soldiers with bands and everything).

A pack of this sort could add great appearence to a wargame. I remember a Tac News of some time ago with a Darfur scenario, where some English special forces had to rescue some doctors.

I'd like to see updated modern US infantry. With all the new gear they've got now. Newer flak vests with the integrated magazine pouches. Javelin AT gunners would be cool too.

First as to scale: I find the infantry perfectly fine in scale, too much smaller and you are asking for considerable breakage (not to mention additional painting difficulty). I do some 10mm figs and the current GHQ infantry are much smaller than that.

Now as to my wish list:

First - More figure variants in the currently available range. Mix it up some.

Second - Modern Chinese and all the heavy weapons associated with them.

Expansion of Vietnam range:
ARVN
RF/PF "Ruff Puffs" & CIDG
U.S. Special Ops/Green Beret A-Teams
Marines w/M-14s

Now that GHQ has a Japanese Combat Command, how about one for the Marines? Or the U.S. Army in the Pacific? You could even add a "Sgt. Striker" figure. Just a thought.

You have to revamp the US WW2 infantry first. Marines with un bloused trousers. US airborne, and new line infantry.

I'd like to see early war us infantry and US infantry in great coats as a follow on.

I would not want to see a Pacific Compat command with the current selection.

I agree with Volt. First we need to rework the WWII Americans and finish fleshing them out to include Paras and Marines.

Then we need to rework the WWII Germans in much the same way including some with the smocks.

We need 1967 era Israelis and Arabs. We have all the vehicles we need to fight the 67 war, but no infantry.

In short, I would like to see GHQ take a more practical course in the expansion of the line. Instead of releasing the odd water truck, or the obscure modern South African artillery piece, wouldn't it be better to release key missing models that would help to fill out in the line in a way that would allow us to game the more common situations?

tank crewmen

Post by Wayne »

We need tank crewmen both WW2 and modern. Brits, US and other countries. Also I`d like to see some additional poses in the infantry. I`d like to see casualties, wounded and dead in different poses.
