Indeed. As dnichols says, we stand "on patrol" many hours per day.
I have removed an average of 3 or 4 spams per day for the last week or so. I have also removed several spammers. On a couple of recent occasions I have gathering information on login names that have posted multiple spams and provided the information to GHQ so that the accounts could be terminated, and more recently also uncovered a single IP address that had been used by seven different spammers (and no legitimate forum members), and provided that information to GHQ so that the IP address could be blocked from further account registrations.


We are pretty active in keeping this forum clear. I would wager that the average life expecancy of spam on this fine forum is measured in minutes.
