GETTING TOGETHER FOR A WEEKEND

Post by fullmetaljacket »

Has anyone every thought of renting an elks or county fairgrounds building for a weekend, and invite all the great guys from this site for gaming, modeling and etc.. I would be willing to host somethng her in Warsaw indiana or even in South Bend or Fort Wayne if we would get enough interest. I can think of several from here in this region that are on the forums that would most likely attend. Something like a friday meet and greet and dinner, saturday modeling, gaming mostly modeling just to see how others do the hobby. I'm sure JB, MK1, Cama and others would love to show us some of their skills and modeling tips. Just an idea if anyone wants to try and put something like this together let me know, or start a thread on this topic. It doesnt have to be here we could see who all would come and try and find a local point between all of us.

I'm up for it. Give me plenty of advance notice so I can clear my schedule for you.

Sounds like fun.

But ... it is a bit of a drive from the Bay Area... :(

We should make the mecca type journey to GHQ's HQs in Minnesota. In this manner they would be overwelmed by such numbers of us ,that they would be throwing heaps upon heaps of packaged minis at us to leave!

Sydney sounds great can you put us up for a week or so? I like JB idea about getting together near GHQ headquaters. Maybe we can get some free packs hint hint GHQ! any way I'm up for anything if you all are really thinking about doing this some time this summer. Just dont plan it around Orginis or GEN con.

Word! We will be at Origins.

It seems that GHQ could garner a larger piece of the pie if they made a showing at some of the larger, non-miniature specific cons...

But, I digress.
