Huge, it could be from the US Airlift 'Nickel Grass'. The US sent more modern equipment in droves, such as factory fresh M60A1's, TOW missles, & probably the Vulcans too. So they would have showed up later in the war. But true, they most likely did some time shooting.
This is a good point. The list I presented is only valid for the early phase of the war. If you game later, basically the whole spectrum of modern armaments opens up for both sides.

Recon Vehicles
taskforce58 - Both the Syrians and the Egyptains used Soviet style organizations, so I would go with Soviet organizations from the same period. I read somewhere that the Syrians used Pt-76's and BtR 50's in their recon units.
I think the Israeli's most common recon vehicle was a jeep. They used AMX-13's or jeeps with 106mm recoilless rifles as fire support. No idea on the small unit organization.
