Canadian TO&E-late 70's

Post by dougeagle »

Hi all,

I've been searching over the net and on here as well as other forums that I'm with looking for some info into the TO&E of the Canadian Forces in the late 70's.
I don't think that there is much change in it, but am trying to find info.

Some direction and/or info would be appreciated :D

A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.

Look for a book called First Clash by Kenneth Macksey. I don't think it is in print any longer but it is available used. It follows the Canadian forces in Germany on exercises against a Soviet MRB in the early 80s. It provides some good insight into weapons, tactics and organization as I recall.

Tactics are the opinion of the senior officer present.
