Looks like some sort of "duplicate bug" has hit...

Let's see if this posts?

On my website, www.microarmormayhem.com, check out the NATO 1989 document; while a lot of the TO&Es are for the late 1980s, many, such as the West Germans, had not changed.

Also try 'Armies of NATO's Central Front' by David C Isby and Charles Kamps Jr, pub by Janes 1985, ISBN 0 7106 0341 X.

Contains deployment and organisation of all NATO forces for 1985 as well as equipment specs and tactics.

Well, there are LOTS of them here at the GHQ website!

http://www.ghqmodels.com/pages/military ... tories.asp

Or click on military models, then free rules, and then on Modern Country studies!

They are laid out for MATG - modern

WOW!!!!!! Just read the US Army section.

I have done a lot of research on the Cold War era. Rock climbing, Girls and 2 jobs have kept me from digging into the declassified information out there.

I love that this was backed up by a bibliography. You may diagree with the interpretation of the facts but not much room to argue the facts themselves. Much of the Reforager stuff was highly classified when I was in. My clearence included NATO access and I still couldn't see the Reforager scheme.

Fantastic JOB!!!!! Those that are tired fo the "Day One Soviet attack in Fulda" should check this out. Disposition of follow on forces and expected deployment times is a great source for scenarions taking place 2 to 3 weeks after an initial invasion.

GREAT JOB Pat!!!!!! :D

The deployment times shown for National Guard divisons I have heard of before. In fact I think the 50th AD, 49th AD and 1St Cav. under Third Corps, were supposed to be used to counter attack the initail invasion.

Frankly though I can not help but wonder just how real these plans were for N.G. Divisions to deploy in 30 days. A few yeras latter the same divisions were NOT considered ready for Gulf War 1.

Ok to use against the varsity but not ready for the frosh team?

Perhaps I digress, but yes, these would make for interesting scenarios.
