Last year there were a couple of threads about orders placed by various members.
So, what did you order for this year's sale? Here's the damage I did to my savings!
Individual Bits
1x (one) GHQ Stock # N68 (LAV-25 hull and turret)
1x (one) GHQ Stock # N69 (LAV-AT hull and turret)
2x (two) GHQ Stock # N79 (M996 HMMWV and TOW)
1x (one) GHQ Stock # N522 (FAV and .50 cal)
1x AAV Pack
4x Sea Night/Chinook Packs
4x Super Stallion Packs
1x AH1W Cobra Pack
2x Harrier Packs
1x LCAC box set
(JB...I was tempted by your suggestion for landing craft but I have to pay for my kids' chess club this month!

Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock....
Just waiting for the last of the August new releases to come out....
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock.....
Hey Tim!
Nice order. I'm looking to top up my MEU as well - Harriers, Ospreys, LCACs.
Umm.... just one thing....You do know that the Frog and the Chinook are two different aircraft? Similar yes, but not identical. Kind of like the difference between a Hummer H1 and H2. You want the H2, you've ordered the H1. Looks like the army just joined your expedition.
regards
Steve

Yes, I'm aware of The Other Company. But from an "operational" perspective I have far more confidence in GHQ with respect to reliability. The Other Company even states that they're not certain of their own inventory levels and availability when it comes to aircraft. Yikes! Talk about a lack of confidence!
With GHQ a customer knows that product is consistently available. And even if not precisely the correct model it's "close enough" to serve as a gaming piece (after all, it's not like the model has any inherent performance characteristics....they're all just sculpted bits of lead!)
So, unless something is absolutely not made by GHQ (eg civilian cars) I stick with them even if it's not precisely the correct version. For me, buying a model is not just the model but also the service and reliability and GHQ excels at all three!
The Other Company would do better to emulate GHQ's approach to quality, service, and reliability.

Too, too true. Some years ago I ordered two ship models from The Other Company, and when they arrived pieces were missing. I emailed and asked for replacements, never heard anything for two months, then emailed again (a somewhat snarky email, I admit). The replacement package arrived after another month with a very nasty letter telling me never to order from them again. And I haven't.

I have both sets of rules and quite enjoy both as well, especially the WW2 onesand thought I'd try out out GHQ's modern and WWII micro-armor rules.

I took advantage of the 15% once I got a card from GHQ showing the discount with the 'Normandy' word, so I ordered for 2 combat command box sets, German Afrika Korps 1941(G157) and the Commonwealth Western Desert 1941 (UK152).
Been wanting to do North Africa for quite awhile now

Wow! No confidance in their own stock levels, lack luster shipping contral, and realy bad customer service. Quite the hat trick.
Anyway looking to start work on a A/I '73 force. Realized last night today was a pay day, so might just be able to take advantage of the sale after all.

I think this is the biggest order I've placed, yet. And probably too much money, but what the hey.
1 pk of IIDF Inf.
1 pk IDF Hvy weapons
2 pks Zeldas
2 Pks Sho't
1 pk jeep mounted RRs
1 pk M577
Can some one tell me why vehicles like the 577s are sold 5 to a pack? Would not make sense to maybe mix up the command units a bit? Just a thought.
