New WWII 1:1 Rules are now available!

Post by GHQ »

We are happy to announce that our new WWII 1:1 rules are now available! Initially they will be available as an electronic download, but will soon be available as a hard copy as well. Just like our 1:platoon based WWII rules, the concept of cohesion plays a central role in this great set. The training and experience of each unit are important factors in determining the outcomes of all battles. Everything has been modified so that you can easily play all of those great small skirmishes. You can see them and have a preview of them here:

I just bought the pdf and it is missing all the pages after page 70. I sent a query to Gamevault too. Hopefully I will get the missing pages soon. I really like the illustrations and what I have read looks good. :D

Sorry for the problem. Please don't worry, we will make sure that you get the full download. Unfortunately because it is the evening, and the weekend, it probably won't be straightened out for a couple days. The main thing that we want you to know is that we will make sure that you get the full download. Because we don't know if this is a one-off problem, in the meantime, we are going to make the download inactive until we are sure that everything is functioning properly. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience, and we will make sure that everything is OK for you.

Tried looking this up by using the link provided...comes up as Item not listed. Was it removed to have the problem fixed?

i am still a little confused, are the 1:1 rules going to be like the regular rules except in 1:1, or are they going to be a supplement, which is not a full rule set?

:D I don't mean to steal any thunder from GHQ, but they are great, -- the pdf has been fixed, it contains all the pages!. I just got it downloaded.

It is a full ruleset based on the superb John Fernandaz WWII rules. I am looking forward to throughly reading them and them playing.

Thanks GHQ and Wargame Vault for the quick fix.

Does anyone know if there is any idea of a price for a hard copy?

We wanted to wait to make sure that everything was OK with the Wargames Vault file before we posted anything again. It looks like all is well and the files are downloading as they should. The link for our new rules is:

PS The hard copies will be available next week. They have the same beautiful layout and have a great color cover, but are in black and white on the interior pages. They will retail for $29.95, but we will have a new release sale on them for $19.95 to kick things off. We will post them on our website as soon as we have them back from the printer.

Thanks again for your patience!

Can the 1-1 rules PDF document be printed out once it has been purchased?

According to the Wargamevault site they say you can print them once you buy the pdf version.

Finally!..... I bought both the PDF and the hardcopy. Looks good and finally a reason to start wargamming again.

Wouldn't mind modern, but could you imagine the range on an Abrams?
