for the 10mm acw guys

i've been gameing american civl war(johnny reb) in 15mm for about 22 years. at one point, i was a memeber of a club building the armies for the battle of gettysburg. well, that was many years ago and since then i've moved to another state(pa.) and there are only a few of our club still togeather.
as my game room is a bit smaller, we've decided to look into 10mm.
i do like the "idea" of going to 10mm, but i have a few questions that maybe some of you van help me out with. i have seen ghq's 10mm figures are historicon. they look great. my problem is the limited range of poses in the line. when i think of a civil war battle line, i think of men moving, loading, firing, etc all in a mixed line of bases. i know this is doable by buying all the different packs and mixing the figures. thats ok.
but are there any "other" rangers that have figures that are close to the ghq line, maybe with more poses? i remember seeing either AIM or charreot figures somewhere, but i think the shop went under.
i'm not looking to waste my time with the likes of "10 high" or junk like that. as i enjoy painting as much as gaming, the figures are important to me. thhe reason why i'd never buy ross/heroics. i guess i'm looking for the cinc eqivalent of 10mm acw.

To me the best bet is to purchase mu;tiple GHQ packs and mix and match. The quality and accuracy of the GHQ ACW 10mm range is awesome and the price on the packs is very reasonable, in my opinion. There are a few other options for 10mm ACW - but they look like blobs of metal next to the GHQ precision minis. Yes, I wish there were a wider range of "action" figures available from GHQ - maybe some day

i'm sure i saw either AIM or charriot 10mm acw and they looked nice, but i can't find pics online so i can confirm they were what i was looking at.
a friend bought about 20 packs of 10 HIGH figures and i took one look and felt i'll. the biggest reason i really like 15mm is the great amount of manufactorers making nice lines of figures. true, you can't always mount them on the same base or use them in the same regiment, but kept togeather, they look fine.

Far be it for me to misdirect someone to another brand (GHQ being the best) but Langton in the UK also have a fair 10mm Civil War line. Hasn't bee updated in years though...

Of the other 10mm manufacturers I think Rod Langton/Starfort are the only ones that fit well alongside GHQ. Their firing poses are particularly good. I think GHQ are easily the best 10mm figures available but the Starfort figures are good for adding variety.
