Very beautiful model

(except the horrible front drive sproket without teeth

Thanks very much for the pictures. The model is lovely as are your pictures. I will try to get one painted up very soon for the catalog once I receive it from GHQ. I do agree with you about the drive sprocket teeth. Have a great day!

I never cease to be amazed at the level of detail GHQ can fit into 6mm....

thats weird, the folks at GHQ don't forget detail to offten...how'd the forget the teeth on the front sprocket?

I agree with you. I don't understand the reason not to reproduced teeth on the front sproket. To my point of view, it's a huge mistake, sadly visible on all new GHQ's PZIV undercarriage and other GHQ's German armored vehicles ... Incomprehensible !

Is it perhaps for reasons of an easy production or casting ? In any case, the drive sproket without teeth completely changes the silhouette of the PZIV undercarriage.

A neophyte would nearly might be wrong between the front and the rear of the vehicle !

(Unfortunately, everything is not perfect, it's like American paratroopers WWII, Vietnam US infantry and SdKfz 11/1 flak38 : they are amazing, but ...out of scale

! Or, on the last PzIV H : side skirts are placed too far forward on the side hull....

)

I don't understand these defaults particularly since the last GHQ's PZIIIs with side skirts are really amazing, beautiful and at the good scale, with all their teeth on their front wheels ! ....
Incomprehensible....
What happened to PZIV's series !

Take a look through the catalogue and you will see that only the earlier casted Pz IVF1 has the teeth on the sprocket. All of the newer castings have this same flaw. It is a very tragic mistake indeed. The older ones look worlds better with the teeth in place.

is there a reason why it is'nt on there? mean to say, we all know the folks at GHQ can do the detaIls right...seems weird.

I'm not that familiar with WWII vehicles but is the shield around the gun a fixed shield in real life or was it a fighting platform that could be folded up for movement? If the latter, is that even an option on this model?
