Thanks, though as always, the camera picks out errors I never spotted when I was actually working on them. Up next week or the week after are the newer Israeli vehicles.

Your highlighting and shading techniques are very effective.

SiG-33 — early WWII self-propelled 15mm artillery.

The plain dunkelgrau paint scheme is a pretty easy one :)

I may have to buy some decals for the markings; my hands aren't as steady as they once were, and painting them in this tiny scale is becoming something of an ordeal.

Another of my Tunisian Tigers. This carries the same colors as the Bovington Tiger.

Hoth,

The base color was airbrushed followed by hand painted bands. All colors are Vallejo.

Steve,
Nice work. Another question, did you thin the color used for the hand painted bans or did you use it strait from the bottle? I airbrush my base colors as well and am almost read to attempt a camouflaged one. Any tips are are appreciated and enthusiastically encouraged.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you!
I did thin the paint. I use Distilled water which seems to work ok. I'll thin the paint but not excessively. The one thing you don't want is the paint being too thin as it will act more like a wash and you can lose control of it. I would start off with a drop or two of thinner and see what kind of consistency you get. A thicker consistency may work better depending on the surface. Also I use a 5/0 brush. It's almost too small but I like the control I get. Depending on the camo pattern you plan on doing you could use the next size larger without issue. Otherwise be patient and have fun!

Dock Smack...yes...a very good job on all for sure. I like the colors of the Shermans, very crisp and clear. Mine are not that good...care to share which color you used for them?

Everyone on here has some awesome stuff :D
