Don,
Are the early cold war airwing aircraft (A-4, A7, F-8, S-2 etc.) really lower down than the 13 votes for modern Super hornet airwing aircraft?

8 votes: early-Cold War UK land-based aircraft
7 votes: early-Cold War NATO land-based aircraft
7 votes: early-Cold War UK carrier-based attack aircraft
7 votes: early-Cold War US carrier-based attack aircraft
6 votes: early-Cold War UK carrier-based fighter aircraft
5 votes: early-Cold War US carrier-based support aircraft

Let me know if you want to add votes to any of these.

Great suggestions all around guys! I would like to throw a couple of hats in the ring.
-U.S. Arthur Middleton Class attack transport, mainstay of many American landings in the Pacific and Mediterranean.
-U.S. Treasury Class Coast Guard cutter, pound for pound one of the most well armed ships on the North Atlantic convoy routes, an absolute must have for convoy duty!
Oh, and give me a vote for the Schnellbootes as well!
