A "Tank Box" containing a full Tiger Battalion, plus some enemy T-34/85 (by chance, do you know who casted them? They pretty old and rough).
The Idea is to have a ready and easily transportable tank unit, to teach tacticts and strategies. And of course the Tiger are too cool. These in particular are old GHQ castings, some 20+ years, I bought at a bargain price two years ago. (€ 0,50 each).
Another project I'm working on are German and Soviet forces in Winter Camo.

Military vehicles are beautiful because they are built from functional designs which make them real, solid, without artifice. The short timers

I have a few things either in the works or at least as a vision in the future.
1. American Sherman tank platoon. This is a very small project for me but I need to get them done to add to my American infantry. Right now they are base coated and I still have to do the detail work. I'm trying to get this one done very soon for a Bulge game we are doing using Mein Panzer rules.
2. T-34/76 Battalion. Some of these are posted in the catalog. These are the R18 1943 version and I need to finish off 2 more companies which are in progress but have seen no work for at least a year. This will be a battalion for Kursk time frame so will have 31 tanks plus a Brigade HQ element.
3. Pz III Company. This is also for the Kursk time frame and will have a mix of Pz IIIL, M, and N.
4. Panther Company. This is a mix of A and G for the summer of '44. These are base coated and I did the camo work on 2 tanks but other things have kept me from getting this one done.
5. Barbarossa. No this is not the whole campaign at 1 to 1 scale. I have a lot to do here with both sides. We have a projected Barbarossa scenario for next year using Mein Panzer so I have a lot of work to do. I did get some T-34/76 1941 done a while back. These are posted in the catalog under R1.
6. Moderns. I have almost no modern vehicles completed. I am looking to do some games using Fist Full of Tows 3 or FFOT3 for short. My primary areas of interest here are NATO vs. Warsaw Pact in the 1970s -80s and the 1967 and 1973 Arab-Israeli Wars.
I have played in other games using these rules and they are good.
This is going to be a fairly long term project and right now is just in my head but I have a lot of stuff to get started with.
Hi Luca
Those look like my old T-34/85's,(1970's) which are GHQ, are the hulls solid or hollowed out?
GHQ's are hollowed out,
Mine are on there 3rd paint job , back to good old green.

Yes it is a modern brigade (Heavy). TOE is based on MCoE Supplemental Manual 3-90
FORCE STRUCTURE Brigade Combat Teams September 2012. There's another document that I started to use FKSM 71-8. Both of these are excellent sources and great detail.
My most pressing planned project is to finally get some pics of my work posted to the forum. Been lurking for years but I'm trying to be an active contributor.
Hope to have something up soon... as far as projects, I'm all over the place, need to make a list!

What will your TO&E be? If you do not mind sharing. I do not happen to have either of those to reference books. There may be a few others that would like to know, too.
Thank you, Chris
Paul,
Thank you.
I am working on some Aussies: a few more M1A1 AIM, LAV-25s, LAV mortars and USMC M1A2, LAV-25, and a few HET, and Hemtts. Need to prepare for a few modern Brits: Challenger 2, Striker ATGM, Warrior apc and Leyland trucks.
Also need to work on some Russian T-80, about 18 of them. And some M901 ATGM.
Would you be willing to email me that manual on the Heavy Brigade Combat Team that you sent to Chrisswim.
Most of what I have gleaned from internet is that it is two (or three) combined arms battalions (each 2 armor and 2 mech companies), but there are details I don't know - for instance does battalion hq feature 2 tanks or 2 Bradleys? Last I saw there were two 6-gun sp howitzer batteries, which is a lot different from the old Div-86 3-battery, 8-gun battalion. And there are a lot of new things included, as well. The internet information can be confusing.
My current heavy brigade leans toward my prejudices - two armor battalions and two combined arms battalions, a 3-battery, 8 guns per SP Arty bn. I know it isn't correct, but then I don't use HUMVEES as scout vehicles, either.
Sent you a PM to get your email address. Currently, I have my artillery as 3 sections of 6 guns for each Brigade. For command attachments I base it on whether it is a mech or armored brigade. Then add two of the either the tank or Bradley.
Thanks, Paul. Sent the email address in PM. I misspoke on my current heavy brigade combat team. I have 1 armor and 1 mech battalion, and two combined arms battalions in my 1st BDE, 3AD. The 2nd BDE is the M60A3 battalion plus the Marines and the light infantry battalion (soon to have the J-series M113A2 mech bn), while 3rd BDE is 1-32 Armor in A2s, 3-32 Armor in A1(RISE), and 1-36 IN(M) in M113s. 3rd BDE is H-series TOE, while the others are roughly J-series. I usually model the unit first, then make changes according to my prejudices. The scouts mounted in HUMVEES for instance - HUMVEE was never intended for that, so I model one unit with them, but the other scout platoons are either M3s as original, or something like Scorpion 90. I suppose I could also use LAV-25s or STRYKERs, but I'm prejudiced against wheeled combat vehicles. Less armor and less mobility, regardless of air-transportability. (I look at the MGS turret and think "tracked hull, like Bradley, Sheridan, or M41. How about M47 or M48? Or even up-gunned to 120mm for the M1? I better stop. I'm starting to feel like Sid in "Toy Story.")
