OP FLADGATE .
The objective of the operation is to extract Balzac nationals from the failed state of Camastan.
Where we can, we will work with the Camastani people. Where not, proactive and protective actions will be carried out.
This is a time sensitive operation in part driven by a fluid situation on the ground, we are no longer dealing with a central government.
Planing is for 500 nationals and maybe 200 others (requests are incoming from other Imagi-nations).
"OP PULTENEY" and "OP APPLETON" are both still ongoing, some assets and assistance maybe available but not guaranteed.

Airspace is made safe over North Camastan.
Ongoing operations restrict number photos of Gripens but aircraft from both 7 and 21 Squadrons took part.

We have a very clear view of what is going on, 24/7

Night ops are not a problem, the dark is our friend.

If an area is too hot, we step back, send in the UAV's. then come up with a plan to adjust.

With full surveillance and control of the airspace we need, an opening can be made.
Full CAP is maintained 24/7 over the operations area. Air tanking by BSDF 727 combi tankers(photos when safe) is used along with the nearest FOB at Goatland.
Goatland is closer to the Camastan Capital than the Balzac Capital (Chris I'm NE of there).
CSAR is established in Goatland, offshore and in Country (photos when safe).

24th Dec. 14 Group meets SOG.

Move to "ABBA" in the North West of Camastan. CAS is on hand along with RBS15 MK3's from air platforms and 3 Ships in Navy Group North. Navy Group South has 1 Ship with RBS15 plus other assets. Yes I've got 4 Rimby(Visby) Class corvettes. The 5th one is in dock.

No sign of Ginger!

Ginger just reported on CNNB Report(Camastani Network News Bureau) that they are amazed your aircraft are able to fly with all the cargo boxes attached.

It is a good thing that Putinville just finished 12 SA-15's with 6 more of the floor being assembled and painted. Fifteen T-90's are also being put together.

******News Flash from CNNR******

Four Putinville ships have landed at Camastan and have unloaded vehicles and men to assist in the relocation of BSDF civilians. Estimates are over a division of troops and vehicles. God Bless Putville cries the people of Camastan as they watch the movement of personnel towards BSDF. Rumor has it they have brought 90d ays of beans, band aids and bullets.

Those 4 ships from Putinville are similar size to the special ops Zodiac. Putinville calls them ships since they are so excited to have them are now able to cross a duck pond(without ducks present) or stream without asking for help from Balzac, Camastan, Mongo, etc. This is really something that they are proud of. As an example of friendship, the news services in our sphere will re-transmit the Putinville success as published by CNNB/CNNR program. This is really an exciting time for Putinville!! Truely, truely. real achievement. We are so proud of Putinville and their new found capabilities.

Just to answers a few questions.
OP Fladgate is basically complete. Most assets have returned safely to Balzac.
Well over 1000 people have been airlifted out from the "ABBA site".
Another 200 or so removed by sea from the Northern coast.
A small number of Balzac government staff escaped from the capital city and are safe in the Country of Okotoks to the South (they will fly home on an Air Balzac flight soon).

Photos are being vetted and should be released soon of the rescue airlift carried out by 16 AOG(Air Operations Group).
We would like to thank the people of Camastan and their help extended by the C.F.L.

No aircraft have been lost but a 727 did receive bad damage early in the operation.
Photos of crashed aircraft are most likely C.F.L. air assets from recent weeks. This a war zone!

No 10 ton trucks ever flew in, just light 4x4 and 6x6 of the AOG.
Ground help for transport came from Ki-pon Trucking, owned by a Camastani/Balzac national, a long time loss making business venture.
They would have gone bankrupt long ago if not for that government grant

This was a 36 hours mission that took 48.
We are out of there folks.....

Bridgehead (photo heavy, little story line bad painting).

With the SOG on the ground using local CFL advice and knowledge.
A late night visit to the small airfield of Springbank (Northwest Camastan) is made.

After a brief but loud debait this final outpost of oppression in the North is convinced to turn away from the dark side.
By first light it is safe to start.

This site was singled out for it's short runway (never a fighter base, too short), distance from the fighting in the South and small garrison of hungery unpaid conscripts.

The airfield is secured. SOG/CFL clear the area and check the runway.

The CAP is beefed up over North Camastan .

16 AOG makes its way to air drop on sites G, H and Q in country where small SOG/14 Group teams are waiting.
The first 16 AOG Herc lands at "ABBA" (Springbank airfield).

Quickly followed by a second.

16 AOG deploys out around the field. The Hercs keep burning and turning, unload and are off the ground again.

The area is made safe. AT and MANPADS and mortars are set up.
No ground radar required as the full air picture is soon networked down to ABBA using
AEW&C, Gripens and other asset data-links.

More CFL arrive to help out.

Soon from the East 3 helicopters fly in at 25'agl and land by the terminal.
The smaller one is refulled by one of the NH90's.
