The Great War

Post by CDP »

Hi Everyone,

Is anyone else watching "The Great War" On Youtube? They are putting on a twice weekly episodes. One episode is a weekly wrap up of what happened 100 years ago and the other is a special on people, weapons, countries or any thing else that comes to mind.

They cover a lot I did not know about, including a episode about fighting in places like Libya between the British & Arabs. Yep, In WW1 not WW2.
Cheers

Hmm...may have to check that out.
I think a WW1 gaming system would fun for sure. I that GWSH (no offense) was recently redone but have never even tried the original version either. WWII battles seem to be more popular as you have armoured division, infantry divisions and such. WWI is by most...trench warfare. But I'm sure early battles were not.

A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.

No trenches out east to speak of either. The fronts were just too big....
