Summer Finnish troops
I"m looking at building a Finnish army 1941-44 period. I'm looking for what everyone would think is the best option for Finnish infantry. I don't want just winter troops I'd really like more summer uniforms. I was thinking of using both Russian and German infantry but curious what other might think.

Hey dude! Hope you've had some luck with figuring it out
For my fifty cents, I would actually suggest a mix of German soldiers and Hungarian infantry... at this scale they all look similar enough. Importantly, they all keep the same general appearance.

The AT Rifle can be made to look more 'Finnish' with the addition of a small piece of plastic-card (probably a 1mil thick slip) on top to act as the magazine. The MG team can have it's muzzle flash hider filed back a bit to make it look more like a Maxim gun.
If you're doing later war era, add in some PanzerSchrecks and PanzerFausts from the German Light AT pack... and viola!
Russian heavy weapons may be an option, but then you're also mixing helmets, so up to you there.
Hope that helps!
