Armor Magazine

Post by sneaky pete »

As a former tread head and son of a tread head I was raised looking through "Soldier" and "Armor" magazines checking out at all the cool pictures. I stumbled across the digital database of the Armor magazine today. http://www.benning.army.mil/armor/eARMOR/
Under the archives link. A few I checked out today (1983 issues) had things like armor technology, MTOE of US and Foreign formations, US and Russian tactics. As a wargamer or collector this might be up your alley to checkout.

Awesome, many thanks. Emphasis on Recon in this month's issue. The question of how to incorporate that into the game is still an ongoing issue.

Wow, that is a great reference Sneaky Pete! We have already skimmed a few issues. There is a lot of great information there.

Thanks for sharing it!

I put a shout out about this over at TMP, with a link to this thread.

Hopefuly the Armor site can stand the amount of downloads that are going to occur as the word spreads.

These are great! They will make for a lot of really good reading. I haven't been around for awhile, and I come back and there are some really great topics!
