Im sorry
im saying it ahead of time to get it out of the way.
GHQ put a thread up for us to vote one model, it seems like simple concept.
But it seems folks just cant follow instructions and have to have posts back and forth.
GHQ for the love of mike Just post one model a week and instructions that say comment Yes or No maybe they can grasp that concept better than the current one.....mikey

Mikey,
Don't be sorry, participate, so long as you add value!
In case my ramblings add nothing else here consider this.
Americans: Seem to think that poverty and failure are morally suspect.
Canadians: Seem to believe that wealth and success are morally suspect.
Brits: Seem to believe that wealth, poverty, success, and failure are inherited.
Aussies: Seem to think that none of this matters after several beers.
We live in a big connected World of many different views. What I am trying to say is that all here are looking to support, promote and add value to GHQ. At the end of the day we are all on the same side or should be.
What GHQ asked of us is a complex question, they did ask for a debate and encouraged us to lobby. That is what you are going to get and hopefully this is good for GHQ so long as we look at it in a positive way.
I took a hit from some Bruce because I dared to consider the commercial aspect of making my choice of a new GHQ model.
I take no offense at this, in fact I welcome it.
To him it was not my job, that's his fair opinion and was stated in a civil way.
No worries.
To me the commercial aspect is very important in the lobbying of my point of view.
I'm not just lobbying you guy's, I'm lobbying GHQ. It is a bigger picture.
Cheers,
Mick.

*Cracks first beer* Well I really think that what the main problem is...
*Cracks second beer* Is that basically the whole difference between people is
*Cracks third beer, spills a little as he slugs it back*
*Cracks fourth straight after because he's on a run*
*Cracks fifth, belches loudly* Oi! You lot stop whining, come have a beer and let's talk about how cool all these different ideas are!
Seriously though, lobbying for models is a great idea. I would like to have seen a tad more organisation at first - team GHQ is probably looking to us to make a list of "Do want" for them, then they will choose the best options and put them to us as a poll to make a 'people's choice' build.

It's a forum for crying out loud - it's built for discussion. No one has to read any of it, make your vote and pop smoke if the banter causes anger blisters to appear.
The voting should be more organized, and it should be stricter/have a time line. If the lobbying is too much, GHQ please build a separate post/thread so those who are interested can read and post.
Just my two cents and I will do you all an early Xmas favor and stop posting on this topic!!

We thought that was what we did. Just in case it is not clear to someone- the current thread is for putting up suggestions, lobbying for them, and discussing the suggestions. There is NO vote going on in that thread. In about a week we will wrap up that thread, take the top suggestions, and set-up a new thread that will conduct a formal poll that will allow just one vote per person. It is true that we have not set a formal date for when that will happen. We want to get a feel for the flow on that thread. At this time of the year there may be people out of town, busy with Christmas, etc.BurtWolf wrote: The voting should be more organized, and it should be stricter/have a time line. Does anyone have any questions about this?
Thank you for your support,
GHQ
