What HISTORICAL rule sets am I missing?

Post by Extra Crispy »

As a hopeless rules set collector (currently own about 900 rule sets) I keep a catalog which helps me in evaluating Ebay and flea market purchases. Naturally I wonder what rule sets might be out there that I'm missing. But to be honest my list is pretty good. Still, take a look at the list at the link and let em know if I'm missing anything!

PS. The first four columns are just for my use.

Mustangs and Messerschmidts, (WWII) and Triplane (WWI). They use 1/72 scale planes on poles mounted to wheeled bases where the turn radius is adjusted by a tiller bar arrangement of the aft of three wheels. The front two are fixed.

I have a mint copy of each and would gladly trade for a copy or scan of Tractics. I used it for micro armour when I got into this in the early '70s (can we say GHQ Tiger Is with pins on the hull and a pocket in the turret!). I have lost it over the years, along with a box of minis, and would love to play it again. Also to have for the armour data. Doesn't have to be mint just complete.

I am a gamer not collector. Started as a kid with GHQ lead and Tractics in '73 or '74 and Battleline's Wooden Ships and Iron Men. I still have my original copy of WS&IM (pretty beat up after over 40 years).

Anyone else willing to help locate a copy would be greatly appreciated.

You show Tank Battles in Miniature which I assume is the Featherstone book(s). I have five different versions (different areas, east front, west front, mediteranian (?), western desert, and modern Middle East).

Thanks. If I had a spare set of Tractics I'd gladly trade!

Stephan:
I can't help with Tractics, but that does bring memories.
I still have those early GHQ Tiger 1s and a lot of others of that vintage too.

Hey. I would be happy with a scan. Just asking.

Anyways I also have Form Line of Battle, Stephen Harrison & Robin Peck, Raider Games, 1987 with Navy Lists from the Age of Sail Volume one 1793 -1801.

And

Napoleonic Wars-Naval, BLT Edwards & WE McKenzie, Navwar, 1971.

I did not find either on your list.
