One cannot afford to "grandstand" in such matters. The issue of liberty is too important. I offer neither threat nor warning. Mr. Fatuous accused me of warmongering and all manner of misdeed. The only thing I am saying in response is that the Gator State will defend its sovereignty to the utmost. Send those two M60A2s on down to collect your tax in the morning and they will be in my motor pool in the afternoon wearing my camouflage and carrying my crews.

It is in the nature of bureaucracy to expand its reach, its size, its regulation, its power, and its arbitrariness. Just look at the yourself. You first propose a 1% flat tax across the board to all members, then modify who will and will not be subject to it., and THEN, because Putinville makes so much in oil revenue, decide that, rather than 1%, Putinville will be subject to a FIVE percent tax instead! What happened to 1% across the board? You HYPOCRITE! These are wild, arbitrary decisions made on behalf of an organization that is not empowered to tax its members in the first place.

While it is in the nature of a bureaucracy to expand in all facets of its existence, it is the responsibility of the polity to limit, rescind, and deny it the unlimited expansion it seizes for itself, whatever excuse it gives as justification.

This is a general announcement and not an address to the UIN assembly, and as long as the UIN or any other entity proposes to impose an illegal and unjustified tax or any other instrument upon the Gator State, the Gator State will VIGOROUSLY RESIST. And as well-trained as our forces are, we always appreciate some free target practice. If you and the UIN, which, apparently is just a puppet agent of Chrisdom with the purpose of filling your coffers, insist on this tax, well, as they say on The Price is Right, "COME ON DOWN!" And bring your grandstand.

At the UIN, working on the proposal of the Global Flat Tax.
In discussion with the Chairman of the Committee, Chairman Mao, and a few key leaders on the issue of the 1% Flat Tax, There will not be any extra tax for Putinville. Delighted that they have the oil production and natural resources. That would be reasonable. The Vice Chairman from Sengnal, Lord Shuma, said that the language was punitive and without merit. He did reference the public announcement by the Gator State.
Initial discussion with private conversation is that the Flat Tax is well received, according to Chairman Mao. He said, "I am encouraged by the work of the sub-committee and that the committee has taken on. We can achieve great things together. We can make the world a better place." The issue will be discussed further in the committee meeting scheduled on the calendar. Now it is time for lunch.

Bishnak, it is touch when one needs to work with so many countries, to do their bidding. Trading with them, providing military bases for them, acquire their surplus material on extremely favorable terms. If you need any military hardware such as B52s, tanks, uniforms, medical equipment, ships, be sure to let us know in the Ministry of Acquisition - Military Affairs. We handle all inquiries discretely. It also helps having friends that might be able to lend support and communicate when and if direct communication does not work.

I see you are also a secretive, illegal arms dealer. No doubt, you will skim funds from this tax to further your illicit business, fomenting trouble among nations to increase your profits from illegal arms shipments. Yet another reason the Gator State will NOT be taxed by you or any other international organization, as if protecting its sovereign prerogatives is not enough.

Gator State of Mind, not sure where it is, but.....
.
We are not a secretive, illegal arms dealer. The Commonwealth has various Ministries that work with other countries and the military. Several that we work with are the USA, UK, France, Italy, Balzac, Camastan (years ago), Putinville, Gator State (M60A2s), Australia, Spain, Israel, India, South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Taiwan, Japan, among others. The Commonwealth of Chrisdom has ordained the activity, so by that nature it is not illegal. Secretive it is certainly not.
.
The Commonwealth has specific laws the prohibit illegal bribes and kickbacks. The Commonwealth has not decided on how it would vote on the Global Flat Tax. The Commonwealth is delighted that the 5% tax for Putinville has been cleared up. We are awaiting the specific info about the tax before we can determine benefits and costs and what direction the World should move at this particular juncture.

So YOU are going to determine what direction the WORLD should move on the flat tax... Therein lies the rub!

Seems I read a couple entries back that you were considering inserting "agents" into Yer Bouti. Oh, that sounds just gross.

And "complete discretion is assured" in military sales?

The flat tax is at your instigation, as is reporting on voting. More manipulation.

Someone is playing fast and loose.

The affairs of Chrisdom have taken a decidedly dictatorial turn. You are not even bothering with the "hidden hand" of diplomacy.

The Gators Nation needs new leadership or at least better ** CENSORED ** and spokesman. We are not dictatorial.
We have strategic policy in the Commonwealth where we have government ministries and/or businesses that offer excellent services to other businesses and government agencies: finance and banking services, markets for military hardware, petro and other natural resources, ship building, aggregates, etc.
As the Gator Nation tells us not to institute a Global Flat tax, it is telling us it is not suitable. As a nation, the Commonwealth is just another nation determining how we should evaluate the proposal for a global decision. If it brings peace, The Flat Tax proposal was lead byk
Since there is unrest in the country adjacent to Morrocdom, we feel it is critical to monitor the civil upheaval. We are making info available to the UIN. This is prudent. As republican monarchary, we prusue peace and economic enterprise, trade and education for our citizens. Even now Algeria is having problems with the dictator along with the military coup. Cabinet members are in turmoil with two already shot with one execution to date. Former General Fatsua if taking over and causing chaos, turmoil and heartache in the region. It was General Fatsua that proposed the Global Flat Tax to the UIN.

Now you arrogate to yourself the privilege of judging who should lead the Gator State, simply because its leader disagrees with you about the flat tax issue and the international policy pursued by Chrisdom.

You seek to undermine the Gator State.

You seek to impose (through your Fatuous puppet and your own "international" instrument) a tax on the international community. You start with a "flat tax," then "adjust" it according to your own values and judgement and withdraw it only in the face of international disapproval. These issues are an effort to establish an international government and deprive nations of their sovereignty to the benefit of Chrisdom. I would never have believed all of this were it not obvious through your own pronouncements.

The Gator State not only has withdrawn its membership application to the UIN, it now summons its representatives home from Chrisdom and the UIN and expels all representatives of Chrisdom, as well as all citizens of Chrisdom, from the territories of the Gator State. Any citizens of Chrisdom or its affiliates, including the UIN, found within the Gator State after 24 hours will be arrested and charged as agents seeking the overthrow of the Gator State. "Little Green Men," individuals in non-identifiable uniforms, will be presumed agents of Chrisdom or the UIN and may be shot on sight or arrested as spies.

No further comment or communication regarding the UIN, flat tax, or the so-called "Commonwealth" of Chrisdom (yeah, Chrisdom taking the common wealth!) will be issued except from the muzzle of PanzerGator's main gun, located WITHIN the borders of the Gator State. Diplomatic relations will only resume when the "Commonwealth of Chrisdom acknowledges its actions and withdraws all efforts to establish and enforce its policies on the international community. And the same goes for those who foolishly support its efforts to establish world hegemony..
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.

The MV Horton has arrived, delighted to continue the trade program with friendly nations of the world. We are even trading with South Africa, they sent surplus Rooikats to counter the threat from Yer Bouti posed by rebels, terrorists and former General Fatusa.
.
As for the Gator Nation, the comments from their administration, it appears that they have definitively strong nationalist views and of isolationism and their policy. Withdrawing from the UIN because they disagree with a sub-committee vote and then the vote by the Economic Affairs Committee. It is expected to be determined by the membership later this month in January or in February. But Gator Nation is lead by 'snowflakes' to quote Sean I. Hannity when he appeared on the Wolf on CNNN.
.
We in the Commonwealth are saddened by the comments by the Gator Nation, Maybe their leaders are not ready to be world leaders on a global scale. We recognize that there are educated men and women leading the country. Gator Nation offers complementary economy to other states. I hope that the UIN will keep it hand extended to the citizens of Gator Nation and to welcome the Nation back when they are ready to participate.
.
There was a large fire in an industrial facility that produces tractors, farm and construction equipment, along with commercial and military wheeled vehicles. A delay shipment of some equipment to dealers and foreign government ministries and agencies.

The Commonwealth of Chrisdom announces the acquisition of 6 P-3 Orion aircraft since we lost a P-2 a week ago. Other P-2 were not able to perform their patrol duties. MP Smyth, in Parliament complained of the waste of resources maintaining the P-2 program that last 10-15 years.
The P-3 were scheduled to be decommissioned from the US Navy this summer, but were flown to the US base in the Berlic Island in the Mediterranean Sea. The air and maintenance crews from the P-2 where immediately transported to learn train on and learn how to care for the plane. Other members were flown to NAS Jacksonville in Florida for further training on the P-3. It was announced that further decommissioning of P-3 may be sold to the Commonwealth.
An aircraft, C-130, has taken off for recon of Yer Bouti patrol, which is a long range cargo and transport air craft. It has served as an AC-130, but with all weapon removed, but to allow information gathering and assessment.
.
Preliminary evaluation is that chaos ensues in Yer Bouti, fires that have been set, buildings burned. Crowds are gathered in areas seen marching down roadways. Some fighting and causalities are evident. It appears that it is a dire situation in Yer Bouti.
