How long do your brushes last?

I agree this has been an excellent thread. I am ordering new brushes and cleaners and trying to change the way I paint. Will keep you posted on how the experiment works out. Great advice!!! Thanks!!

Now somebody tell me how to build a hot tub time machine so I can find more time to paint - haven’t held a brush since beginning of June...

I am not certain but Tamiya acrylics are alcohol-based and need a special cleaner. Most others should be good with only water.

For detail work I have been using sharpened toothpicks. They splay out at the ends after awhile and you have to shave that part off. For really tight hard to get spots you can shave a really long point, which most times last long enough to do the job.
