I would like to see this forum continue as well. It is a nice perk provided to us by GHQ.

Agree. FB is more difficult and I don't like the price personal privacy it charges.

Our tech guys have looked into it further, and some of the posts are likely to be lost. The back-up was corrupted. We absolutely are not trying to end the forum, and move anyone to Facebook. Our Facebook page is another option for us to connect with our customers. Believe it or not, but some people actually like Facebook. If you don't, we are fine with that too. We like our forum, will do what we can to keep it going, and updated as we can. We aren't looking for any sympathy, just some understanding. These days most people are used to dealing with huge megacompanies- Amazon, Google, Facebook, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. When things tech happen at those places they have a huge staff at their beck and call. Unfortunately we aren't huge, and don't have a tech department. We have outside tech people who we have used for years, and have been happy with them. Occasionally there is a perfect storm, and things don't go as planned. We have had some issues with a few things in the last 6-9 months, and we are doing what we can to get everything back on track. We are the oldest company in the wargame industry, we have been around for over 51 years. Please give us some credit for our reputation over those years, and ask yourself "Is GHQ continuing to come out with quality miniatures?" Please keep it in perspective, and don't default to "the sky is falling". If you really want to do something to help, keep buying miniatures.

Thank you for your support,
GHQ

GHQ,

Thanks for the info. My father taught me that keeping the troops honestly informed alleviates 75 per cent of the unrest, latrinograms, misinformation, and discipline problems that come up. Information reduces speculation. It does seem to me that most folks here are pretty patient and understanding.
