Thanks, Chris. I am aware of some of those developments, but I don't like them. I like the 4-company battalions, 6-piece mortar batteries in each, the 8-piece 155SP batteries. I prefer pure battalions and 5-tank platoons, as well. I'm just old-fashioned and opinionated. Yes, I understand the reasons for the changes.

When I start building me modern battalions again, I will make them the way I want... rather than follow an extant TO&E.

Soooo, how do you figure the tanks, since battalions are combined arms. At 3 companies per bn, there are either two armor companies (28+2hq and 14 Bradleys, or the other way round and only 14 Bradleys

I probably should have pointed out that H series armored divisions had 6 tank battalions and 5 mech battalions, while mechanized divisions had 5 and 5. J series Armored divisions had 6 tank and 4 mech and mech divisions had 5 and 5.

Nashorn88 I just joined the club!

It was on the cards being on reduced hours for the last few Months.
Company folded yesterday, everyone out by the end of the day including the boss!
Just waiting to see how things pan out.
The company was not directly connected to the oil industry here but at the end of the day that down turn had an effect on us.

I think I have some T90MS coming my way so a start to my up grade program will happen this Q1 just slow and steady.
I still have a bunch of repainting to do and a little trade deal with Chris should keep me going for sometime.

Up side, time to paint and post.
