Hoth, I know where you can get a good deal on an Edsel, which is a helluvalot better tank than an MGS.

I knew you would like my wheeled armor, PG! I have to admit that I had never heard of Lariat Advance before. I had to look it up!

Lariat Advance....
That is what the CoC forces have been doing for a few year in West Sahara because of Yer Bouti. We need to be ready when the call comes the the AS* is coming across the line. Those people are evil war mongers.

Those two words cost me many a night's sleep in my 20s and early 30s.we would go in, load up, and often just sit in the motor pool, engines running, waiting for the word to move out for a couple hours. Word would come around 0600 to stand down and the duty day would begin. Ah, the good ol' days... Nobody shot at us.

It was a privilege. The only thing I ever wanted to do. I felt like I was really doing something ! Of course, nobody was shooting at me...

BurtWolf wrote:Great airfields and shanty town - really came out well!! Can you get some tips on how you painted your tarmac and made those great looking streaks and weathering? Thanks again for posting.
Sorry BurtWolf missed it.

Some tarmac is a simple print on card from Paint program. You can paint right on the pink form and then try to mark up lines cracks etc but I find it is easier to put down cheap card first then paint it. Fine tip paint pens (from Napa Auto) work well and water based paints for general weathering.

I have received a lot of questions on the airfields, I made a few over the years.
I will endeavor to make up a " how to" of the way I have come to do it.
No way the same class as some of the eye candy scenery on here but cheap and fun.
My Yer Bouti City is just getting a make over (bigger) so I will try to document it as I go.
Thanks,
Mick.

All the modern infantry are finally done. I still have the cold war packs but those can wait. I have tanks and Mecha in the paint queue. Hopefully, I can primer stuff on Friday.

Guroburov,

Loving your Modern arm peeps. Could you tell me what color you used on them and how you made your bases. I have a pack of US modern infantry that are sitting itle waiting for me to get the guts to mount and paint. Since I am building my armored cav unit, this might be a great time to start.. Ooops.. is this me at the start of another ADD moment before I finish my M60s..
