To Canada
The Balzac Republic, Monacodom, and CoC would all like to follow Yer Bouti Air Group through Canadian airspace. We request to be 4 miles behind YB aircraft. Of course there will not be any bombs on our planes.
Canada, thank you for allowing us to follow YB AF.

Great pics, Chris.

How many battalions do you actually have?

PG, thank you.
I can’t count that many, need more fingers....
For CoC/Aussie Abrams, full brigade, I had only 3-4 companies on the board.,, then 3 companies on opposing forces.

A brigade is a nebulous thing. A U.S. H series bn has 54 tanks, a U.S. J series has 58 tanks. A Russian tank battalion has 31 tanks. For a while, the tank but if a Soviet motorized rifle battalion had 40 tanks. How many battalions?

Chrisswim,

Your terain looks awesome with your vehicles on there. Love the razorwire.. Looks great. What do you use for the razor wire.

I know I have heard story's from Paul, talking about the size of your collection, but it seems so huge that my pea brain can hardly believe it.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

Looking good Chris.
No doubt about it the pewter cold war is back on!
Despite the perilous state of the Yer Bouti economy we have to respond to this constant maneuvering of forces on our boarders.

Glad you guys like the pictures.
The CoC, company size is typically 14. 3 companies to the battalion, 3 battalions to the brigade. So, 44 vehicles to battalion, at times 58.
.
Razor wire... just wire bought at michaels , or HD. Wrap around an ink cartridge from a ink pen.
.
YB, just some training. Nothing for you to be concerned with. Besides, the last oil royalty check went to buy a beer production capability from Balzac Republic. Maybe the citizens of YB will relax.

PG, count of my Aussies (which doubles for the Commonwealth)?
I will need to find some of the Bunker Boxes. 140-160 Abrams is estimate, 40 Bushmasters, 60-80 LAVs, 50 M113 (or less).
.
That is all the intel you are getting from me, as of now.

It is no secret. NATO -- US -10 tank battalions, 6 mech battalions, 3 cavalry squadrons (not all the same kind, so not a regiment), 3 light tank battalions, 3 independent tank companies, 1Stryker infantry company, 1 heavy tank co, 2 155SP battalions, 2 8" batteries, 1 MLRS battery, 1 reinforced air defense battalion, 1 combat engineer battalion. UK - 1 armoured infantry battalion, 1 armoured regiment, 1 formation reconnaissance squadron, 1 155SP battery, 1 MLRS platoon, 1 REME support troop. GERMAN - 1 combined arms panzer battalion, 1 ADA (gun) platoon, 1 ADA (missile) platoon. FRENCH - 1 combined arms armoured regiment, 1 heavy reconnaissance squadron, 1 155SP battery.

USSR -- 1 MRD (1 tank regiment, 1 BMP regiment, 2 BTR regiments, 1 Arty regiment), 1 independent tank regiment, 1 independent tank battalion, a number of SCUDS and SCARABs, 1 air defense battalion. Honestly, I haven't had the Russkis out of their boxes in 15 years, so there might be more, but I have been focussed on NATO units.

I expect to add 2 more mech battalions this year, work on turning the light tank battalions into an ACR, finish my DIVARTY (1 more 155SP bn, 2 more MLRS btys) plus another Arty bn
finish the M103 bn. I plan to convert 1 M60A1 bn to an M60 bn as soon as I can perfect the turret mod, put an M48A2 bn together, and maybe an armored infantry battalion (M59s), but I have TOE research to do. And then there is a divisional, M48A2-equipped cavalry troop... I am currently not modeling air assets.

As soon as we cure our hoarding problem, there will be a sheet of plywood looking like a concrete motor pool on which they will be parked. Until then, they are in battalion boxes.
