I had all these t62 casting that I didn’t like so I converted them to something more useful.

Considering using brass rod to replace M551 152mm with 57mm autocannon.

What turret did you use for the Boxer 105, Chris? CV90105? Looks good!

Thinking of creating a more 21st century equivalent of the Sherman tulip, by slapping a pair of AGM-65 Maverick missiles on the turret of a Leopard 2A4 tank.

I'm currently looking to kitbash with my M-ATV. Looking to relatively low profile turret mounting larger caliber weapon system (20-30mm etc) to build some scout/patrol vehicles with more firepower. The US is doing something similar with the JLTV in real life. I saw a really nice mockup of a JLTV 30mm with quad Javelin launcher.

Any turret suggestions? I'm thinking something like a turret from one of the Marder variants. Thoughts?

I've also seen pictures of a GHQ M-ATV done up with a TOW launcher. It got me thinking of missile suggestions, so I will be trying to fit a few different systems.

If anyone follows the IDF, you might have seen the 30mm being trialed on the Namer.

I'm considering mating a couple Namer hulls with the turret from the Stryker Dragoon.

So I spent a while trying different RWS and turret ideas for the M-ATVs I have

I've found that the dual RWS from the TAPV is easy to do and looks great, at least in my opinion. Gives you a 40mm AGL and a 7.62 GPMG in a compact package.

LAV-25 turrets on CinC M113 C&Rs to make ARSV stand-ins.

If anyone else is looking to build their own light tanks from available GHQ parts...I came across another possibility.

South Korean K-21 IFV hull with XC-8 turret (CV90105)

I don't have any K-21 hulls, so I'm not sure if they fit together without modification. But it's definitely been done in the real world, so just throwing it out there.

Shawno, here is a mating of the K-21 AIFV hull and the turret of the CV90-105.

Those K-21 105's look cool, Chris! Thanks for sharing.

I'll take a couple pictures of my M-ATV with TAPV dual RWS and post them when I get a chance.

Oh...and has anyone here tried fitting the SA-22 system on a different vehicle chassis?

My Marder-Wespe what-if conversions.
I never could understand why the PzKpfw II chassis was used for both a tank destroyer (Marder II) and a self-propelled howitzer (Wespe) while the similar-sized TNHP-S chassis was used only for a tank destroyer (Marder III).
To remedy this and to provide a bit of improvement in the Marder II, I did a little ‘cut and paste’ with GHQ models.
In my versions, the Wespe (G117) and PzJäg38(t)M Marder III (G58) remain the same. For my improved Marder II I used Wespe chasses with the 10.5 cm howitzer replaced by 7.5cm Pak40 guns taken from Marder IIIs. Moving the engine forward and the gun back gives a more balanced chassis and improves crew access. For the howitzer-carrying TNHP-S, I used 105 cm howitzers from the Wespes to replace the 7.5 cm guns on Marder III chasses.
