The Canadian army is planning a retaliatory strike on the Brown Trowsers group in the T.Zeina area after they opened fire on a Armored column a few days ago, a much larger force will be organized in order to deal with this recent threat to Canada's operations in the North African country.
The badger watchers will not be allowed to intervene again.
They are after all advising the Brown Trousers on cinematic issues.
Outside the T.Zeina area
the large Canadian formation has arrived near T.Zeina in preparation to enter the area, onboard the M557 the Canadian Officers held a meeting to plan out there strategy based on some of the Treaties laid down by the ROD military, there main goal in this mission is to remove the Brown trousers from the area, they will send in the infantry accompanied by LAV IIIs, and other light Vehicles to best navigate the narrow streets, heavy armor will be deployed behind them once some streets are cleared to establish a beachhead to which they slowly make there way into the city in order to make the BT group fall back until they exited the area.
The first wave going into the city will consist of
7,000 Infantry
100 LAV III's
85 Ferret Scout cars
50 M151 MUTT jeeps
10 Sherman Badgers
Tyres and barricades are set on fire. Car horns are sounded.
The local population starts to fill the streets, mostly woman and children.
Youths start throwing stones at the K-nuk lines. fewer men are visible.
No shooting (unusual for this rime of day in the city).
The Canadian Captain with a load speaker pops out of the LAV IIIs hatch to talk to the crowd.
(Canadian Captain on loudspeaker): "Civilians in the T.zeina area, you are in the path of the Canadian army, please leave the area immediately."
(Canadian Infantrymen): "Ah man not this Civilian Meat Shield BS again, are the Brown Trousers so cowardly that they are using people like this? Takes the fun out of shooting something."
The population is enraged but fall back about 50 meters then the small arms fire starts.
The bounty is released and quickly spreads among every locals, the ones with AK's and without.
$100 for any invader, $1000 for a live hostage.
About two dozen snipers are well hidden and now start to fire. Their main targets are command but any clear shot is taken.
No armour or heary weapons are visible.

The first Milan ATGW hits the M577. No one is sure of the direction from which it came.
A flash is then noticed from the top of the hospital 2 Kms South.
The second Milan is watched by many as it makes it's way to a LAV 3 with more aerials and strikes it on the rear quarter.
The Canadian Officers quickly retreat to there LAV IIIs to safety from the small arms fire and snipers, while the rest of the Canadian infantry starts to fire back, the Sherman Badgers and Ferret scout cars moved up to start to provide heavy fire support to secure a beachhead for the rest of the formation to setup a forward base of operations in order press further deep into the neighborhood.
However outside the M557 was lost and with it most of the Command staff and some officers, the remaining officers reorganized themselves in a LAV III and attempted to make a run for it to escape the ATGWs range, its up to the officers inside the city to take command.
Flash, another Milan is fired from the top of the hospital.
10 seconds later a Sherman Badger is hit with colourful results, blocking the road.
The civilian crowd pulls back another 50 meters revealing many casualties.
The bounty of $100 for any (confirmed) invader, $1000 for a live hostage is now offered to Al Kabab, the Spindizzy's, MLF and any other faction in the city.
The Brown Trousers will work with any faction against the invaders, even the CofC backed groups.
Outside T.Zeina
(Canadian Infantrymen): "We need to take out that Milan on top of the hospital now!"
A Leopard 2A4 Tank aims its main gun on the hospitals roof and and destroys the Milan launcher along with its operator.
The other Canadian Vehicles and infantry inside the city are taking an alternate route to get around the wreckage of the Sherman Badger, but they still press forward with the advance, Flame throwers and HMGs clearing the streets of the enemy small arms fire.
The Remaining officers in the LAV III outside, called for the first wave to withdraw from the city and abort the mission, due to causing unnecessary collateral damage, and so they can regroup and come up with a new plan. And get the Canadian Red Cross to Mauritania now.
The first wave guns stopped and quickly turn around and left the city.
The Canadian Red Cross is making there way to Mauritania now there bringing in humanitarian aid to the people of the T.zeina area and supplies needed to rebuild there hospital, in exchange they ask the Brown trousers to not fire on the port, and to allow aid workers safe passage into the city.
The City.
27 more Brown trouser specials are fired this time from T.Zeina but about half are falling short of the port. 8 more are fired from Ksar, 7 hit the port 1 landed in Ksar itself with loss to locals.
The number of casualties in and around T.Zeina is staggering. The local population is well miffed.
Anything outside of the neighborhood is considered a fair target.
Several K-nuks have been taken hostage.
Sadly many $100 bills have been handed out (when confirmed).
Not sure how you plan to talk to the BT but now is probably not the safest time to try.
You may want to see if you can hire a company like Hoplite to see about talking to the TB about hostage negotiations. Unless you want to try and wing it yourself. You never know until you try.
Al Kabab is planning to try to take advantage of the bounty that is still on offer to all factions.
