Maple Leaf Landing
At the Canadians Base of Operations in the port, Officers and Command Staff are left struggling to come up with a different plan to deal with the Brown Trousers after the disastrous operation in the T.Zeina area, efforts are made to replace those combat losses before another offensive could be launched, this is the most difficult situation that Canada has ever faced.
The Canadian Red Cross will be talking to the BT to let them into the city to start bringing aid into the city, being a humanitarian organization its assumed that they are immune to being considered targets.
The Canadian army will try to negotiate the release of the hostages.

The City.
OK Mech take your time, it will take a while for the Red Cross to get there.
It would be a brave aid worker that steps in to the city at the moment anyway.
The Katyusaha's will keep coming all night, one or two an hour. Bunker down , they are more of a nuisance than anything else but you don't want to be out star gazing tonight.
Take advice even if you do not follow it. Think before you act. It is a big city area and you are only playing in one part of it so far.
Is your outpost on the Northern coast still there? Are they Safe?

Public announcement by Minister of Defense of The Commonwealth of Chrisdom: Mauritania is a member of the Commonwealth of Chrisdom that is facing some critical decisions as the situation has gotten worse. It was bad a month ago, but the conditions deteriorated during the last month, some on the fraction of people that are citizens of Mauritania and CoC, then exacerbated by outside influences. The CoC certainly appreciates the help to assist citizens here in Mauritania and around the world. We invite those that can to help with peace.

Mauritania
Fly over with engines as loud as possible making a pass from a northerly direction then a return from a southerly direction to head home. There was a SAM fired, believed to be a shoulder fire missile. Four AH-1 Cobras and 4 OH-6 then approached the area to engage to group that fired the SAM. Unable to locate the team. No bombs were dropped . Some food stuffs, in containers with parachutes were dropped, medical supplies and weather-news radios were also made available in the containers.

TF on both side of Hwy 14 advanced into Nouakchott 12 Merkava 1s were damaged, 2 destroyed. The next wave of forces to advance have taken the lead utilizing Merkava IV, Puma AIFV, Namer APCs and Centurion APCs. Coordination between the ground forces, helicopters, and fixed wing is improving.

Patrols continue of the coast of with Hercules, Pegasus and armed Cigarette (AKA Cigar boats) boats.

The Canadian Red Cross along with supplies of humanitarian aid has arrived by C130 Hercules transports to an established runway near Maple Leaf Landing, the CRC personal will make there way to the T.zeina area to deliver the aid to the people there, hopefully with permission from the Brown Trousers.

plus equipment to set up MASH Tents.

The City.
The low fast unexpected flyover by the CofC bombers is an impressive show of force.
Every fighter in T. Zeina and Ksar are glad they are wearing their brown corduroy trousers.
They are counting the cost and licking the wounds from yesterday.
Finally the home made Katyusha rockets stopped falling around dawn. About 60 have been fired at the port area in total.
The K-nuks are reinforcing their positions in the port and the outpost on the Northern coast.
Digging in and clearing arcs of fire to protect themselves from attack. Halting any patrols into the city the focus has moved to controlling the short road from the port to their outpost.
Keeping it clear of anyone approaching or planting IED's etc.
A burnt out Ferret scout vehicle was found in the area of Sebkha this morning.
Good to their word the BT paid out $3,000 to a group of former MLF members who quickly left the city.
No one trusts anyone this morning, even the taxi drivers have stayed home.

After finally being relieved from the rocket attacks, they get back to work on formulating a new plan to combating the Brown Trousers, the ROD via phone call suggested that Canada, the CofC, and Yer Bouti should come together in agreement to combat the rebels, but the Officers are very miffed about that idea due to recent events, and scrapped that Idea for fears it could lead to more problems.

After Waiting for over a day and not a single local from the area showed up to receive humanitarian aid, the Canadian Red Cross packed up there tents and equipment and supplies and left T.zeina bound for Maple Leaf Landing.

The Canadian army's top strategists is still deliberating on an effective strategy to combat the militants, so far no decision has been made, The Hoplites suggested we try a new radical idea called "Special Operations", The leading Canadian officers on the field showed no interest in such a thing and the idea was dropped, the Canadians did ask the Hoplites to assassinate the areas local leaders, they refused to do so, which prompted the Canadians to fire the Hoplites and ordered them off the port.

The city.
A very brave taxi driver flying a white flag drives up to the K-nuks Northern outpost. He stops well short of the main entrance. Getting out of the cab he walks to the gate still waving a flag in one hand and an envelop in the other.
he comes within 10 meters puts the envelop down walks back to his cab and drives off.
The letter is passed up the chain of command., it demands the following.
No attempt will be made to enter the T. Zeina and Ksar or any other part of the city again.
That the K-nuks start to pull out of the port with immediate effect.
That the K-nuks with the red cross pay for the rebuild of the Western city hospital that they destroyed, providing all the material and supplies necessary.
That the K-nuks denounce the game of golf and everything that is a sin about it.
There is also a USB drive.
It shows a short video of two groups of K-nuk soldiers.
One is of 7 battle worn bruised and cuffed with no sound.
Another of 3 cleaner looking troops, sitting on the floor eating saying how well they are being treated and how wrong it was of their commanders to send them to attack women and children.

The Canadians will remain at the port and stay on with the mission provided they can figure out how to remove the group from the area without causing anyone collateral damage. The Canadian army issues an ultimatum to the brown trousers to lay down there weapons and surrender the areas, in exchange we will send aid to repair there hospital.

2 LST's from a recent convoy has deployed there load of troops and Armor to the Northern beach Outpost in order to reinforce it aginest a massive assault by the Brown Trousers, the RCN also brought along two BattleShips, HMCS Kanata, and HMCS Confederation they will provide ship to shore support to hopefully drive them off before they are near the outpost.
