The process of reorganizing our forces under these guideline will take months to implement and put them into practice.redleg wrote:The ROD recommends going back to the basics for Canada.
Have a mission.
At the operational level have a mission and stick to it. Why are you in Mauritania? To hunt Al Kabab? To establish peace? Who do you want to be in control once peace is restored? To claim it for Canada? Only after you know what you want to accomplish and who you are fighting and why can you decide what assets you need. If you are trying to rebuild a neighborhood don’t blow it up with artillery. If you want to beat someone into submission, then do it convincingly. Don’t bring flamethrowers into a town if you want to build trust with the presidents.
At the tactical level have a mission and stick to it. Why are you leaving your base? To go kill someone? To see what exploded? Presence patrol? Decide what your mission is and then proceed with the assets that you need. If you’re operating from a base, you should never have an M577 out on the streets. Take what you need and have a QRF on standby in case they get into trouble (Quick Reaction Force). Never rush to failure – think about what you are doing before you rush headlong out the gate.
Have a chain of command.
This is the military – you have a chain of command from the highest commander all the way down to the lowliest rifleman. If the commander is killed, the next dude in the chain of command takes over. There is no questioning who is in command there is no deliberation. The new commander drives on with the mission or he makes adjustments. No one should ever panic in the absence of orders.
Train your troops.
Get your troops in shape – mentally and physically. Challenge them through training and instill the will to win in them. I suspect that morale will be low if they run away every time they take a casualty. Teach them to want to fight – focus on who you want them to kill, not whether they are working with the CoC or not. Teach them to shoot, to stab, to punch and kick. Teach them to think on their feet.
Shoot, move, and communicate.
When you get into a fight, remember to keep doing these three things. Keep doing them until the fight is over.

Canadian military headquarters, Ottawa
The Top brass and other military officials held an emergency meeting to discuss the recent defeat in Mauritaina in the hands of the Brown Trousers militants, they went through all of the reports and statements made the Commander from the former Maple Leaf landing, and by all of the officers from the front lines, clearly this operation should have easily gone in Canada's favor, as they thought the Brown Trousers are uneducated, loosely organized, and lacking in proper soldierly and equipment to combat The Canadian army. after this rather frustrated and heated meeting the Canadian Military decided to sweep this embarrassment under the rug, and move on.
Most of the Wounded Canadians have been returned home thanks to the help of the US military.

Based on the infantry training program as it was reported by the Major of the Queens Own Rifles, this program will start on the Canada day Long weekend. the first regiment set to began this Modren training program is the said Queens Own Rifles due to there experience in Grunt Week, it will be a long process until all Infantry Regiments follow these new Standards.

This Canada day was marked with the worst terrorist attack in history, a Rocket and Mortar attack on Maple Leaf landing in Mauritaina killed several people and wounding hundreds, this celebration turned to anger aginest whoever was responsible for this attack, an investigation will be launched to determine who did this?
Halifax Harbor
A transport ship MV lions gate has left port bound for Maple Leaf Landing carrying the Royal Artiliary regiment of Canada and there weapons and equipment, plus more supplies for the rebuilding effort.

The attack on Canada Day? It was probably the people whose country you have invaded, whose people you have killed, whose infrastructure you have destroyed. Perhaps you should recall your resentment of CofC's presence in Canada. How dare another country's citizens feel the same about Canada!? The only thing accomplished by this incursion is the killing of Canadians! Ironic, isn't it? Great way to celebrate Canada Day...

It would be good to bring a lot of US troops home, as well. Too much gunboat diplomacy by US, as well. And, of course, CofC has his thumb in every pie. What happened to the State Department?

The Canadian Goverment is already conducting an investigation into this Canada Day attack at the landing in Mauritaina, as of now were not sure who orchestrated this attack, and not one faction there has claimed responsibility for it.
In the Meantime the Canadian Military is in the process of deploying the main counter insergency force ahead of scheadule to hopefully prevent another attack on the landing, the Armed Forces Council demands a swift response to this attack.

Repeating news story....
Nouakchott, Mauritania
MMNN (Mauritania (iMaginary) New Network with Desert Rat Nouak reporting. "General Overdrive. my source said that you commanded the attack on the Canadians 2 days ago. Is it true, why, and What happened?"
, "Thank you for visiting us, it was successful attack, we did sustain some losses of good people. Let me clarify some comments from our friends up north. Who is that guy that is full of it, that dumb fool?" said BT Overdriver. Continuing, "The BT did the attack, Not sure why YB would want to say anything. I approved the attack, gave concept of the idea asking for all the mortars and rockets we could get. Heck the Valkiri MLRS came from the CoC army warehouse as did most of the mortars or were in Mauritania Army of Guard. (You didn't thing BT stood for 'brown trousers' did you, Bachman Turner, my first and middles names). I was a general in the Mauritania Army. We were going through a transition because of the membership in CoC."
"As that 'milk shake' from YB has said that BT was initially organized to fight again Al-Kabob, which is true. As factions were developing. I am in support of the Nationality of Mauritania and if the country decides to be a member of the Comonwealth, that is fine. BT even helped the police until they all disappeared, then acted as police in our sector. Not sure why Canada is fighting us or has been. I do know why they will in the future. I have learned that the mortar and rocket attack did a lot of damage to the C-nuts. It seemed that the C-nuts were fighting everybody, or almost. The Commonwealth has only gotten in the big fight lately. We will try not to fight them. I know why they fired on the mortars, not sure who is firing, why. It is sad that we lost some good men inthe mortar attack, Operation Reversal. We did not know if any counter battery fire would occur at all. If there was we thought that Canada would have done the CB fire."

(This Hour has 42 Mins music Plays)
(Audience cheering and clapping)
(Katy Walsh): "The ROD concluded their Grunt Week with our Canadian Army regiment, the Queens Own Rifles weeks ago, Grunt Week is a week long program meant for the infantry to hone in on their skills in combat in various activities such as poncho raft making and operating in small squads. If you ask me if the situation with this training program was reversed the Canadian Army would have sent the whole ROD infantry to the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm for Obedience training."
(Audience Laughs).

Having missed the whole point of Grunt Week, it will not surprise me if the Canadian gang (I'm not going to call 'em an Army because they act like a gaggle of teenagers playing cowboys ' indians) will succeed again in getting a lot of Canadians killed and will be lucky to be sent swimming back to their ships. If they can swim... Disgraceful comments about Grunt Week are evidence of an ignorant, arrogant attitude toward a serious business and speaks of sheer incompetence. Very sad. You would better serve your national interest by going home for five YEARS of puppy weeks.

Its just a Comedy series Panzer, their just retelling the events at grunt week for satirical purposes only, it is no way reflecting on whats really going on right now.
The Canadian army is hard at work retraining there infantry units from what the Queens Own Rifles learned at Grunt Week. so far its producing good results.
