Nouakchott, Mauritania
The CoC appreciates all the help and sacrifice that Canada has made in this en-devour. The BT was formed by Mauritania military, guard, and regular citizens to fight Al-Kabob.
. There have been cases where they worked together for their common goal. There are several other groups. that have their own purpose. The Commonwealth is delighted to have BT fight Al Kabob. One thing, the CoC will fight as needed, but we will not be harsh. The safety of our service personal is of paramount.
. As you work up the west side of Nouakchott, if you so choose to do so, to help secure residential and commercial areas is appreciated.
. By the way. if Canada has a tanker close by servicing their fleet. Take it north off the coast of of Morocodom, or the northern area of Mauritania or near the Canary Islands we can provide crude that would need to be refined. There will be a receipt to ensure that YB receives their financial allocation from the joint venture.

You appreciate our help and sacrifice? We've done practically nothing but caused problems with the Brown Trousers and lost thousands of our troops. Besides the BT is a very dangerous foe as they have ballistic missiles that can be used to wipe us out, they will betray you guys to serve their own goals one of these days. A tanker will be sent to bring oil to Yer Bouti.

We will travel up north far from the city to search and destroy those Scarab missiles and their launchers, once they are destroyed, then we will leave this country.

The Canadian Forces will began to march away from the city and headed up north to fight the fleeing militants and destroy the Scarabs before they can exit the country. to cut off their escape route the Canadian Airborne Regiment made a parachute jump near the country's northern border.

Are the C-nuts jumping and marching now, or just giving us your plans?

Isn't there a couple hundred miles of desert between Nouakchott and the northern border? I hope you have a plan to keep your paratroopers supplied and fed up there.

Evidently, Canadians don't look at maps when "planning" operations. Doctrine seems to consist of winging it, as-clubbing it, and making it up as they go. If they keep it up, there will be no Canadian army

Northern border, Mauritania
2 C-130 flew overhead to begin airdroping the Canadian Airborne regiment, along with enough supplies including food, and water to keep them active, while they setup a road block to prevent the fleeing BT from escaping along with the SS-21 Scarbs.

Meanwhile on the ground the Canadian Forces loaded what supplies that their APCs and M-35 trucks could carry, and quickly set off to the northern border.

CANN
Russ Plus reporting, "Two planes, C-130 are going to be carrying a Canadian Airborne Regiment into northern Mauritania. It will take the planes about a total 8-10 sorties. If one develops engine trouble the other C-130 will be taking all the flights. Then supplies, keeping them supplied. I asked a captain about this operation while he was waiting at the airbase for the planes to come back. He was to be on the 3rd flight out on one of the two planes. He did not want to provide his name, image or any other comments, obviously frustrated."
Shelia Saddleback said, "thank you Russ for that information. Here is another story that is perhaps telling of events here in Canada."
'Protests in several large cities in Canada and in smaller cities and towns. Protest is against the Government and Military. Some happened in the center of the business district marching to the WW1 or WW2 Memorials at a park. Most peaceful. Most at any one location was 3-4000 people. Most sang songs or chanted 'bring our boys & girls home, when do you want it, Now' during the march. Some throwing of rocks and windows smashed. In Vancouver, some fights broke out with police. 2 arrested. 1 officer and 2 protesters visited ER, were released.
. More protests expected tomorrow. Keep you eye out on FB and other social media. Expect larger crowds. That is the concern. Police escort was available today in most cases shortly after people congregated in a park. Sgt Trudeau (no relation to the PM) of Calgary said, "I would join the protest as my brother is in the Canadian army. The leadership is poor, there isn't a strategy." '
Shelia closing, "Thank you for watching."

A recall notice has been issued by the Canadian Government to the Landings Command staff to bring the troops back home now. The Ground forces mission is now to retrieve the Canadian Airborne Regiment at the border and return them to the Landing in preparation to leave the country.

News report from CANN.
Some spokespeople got face time on CANN...
"We will not, PM needs to resign, need to fire those leaders responsible. Protests at 11am tomorrow all across the country. 'THROW THEM OUT, THROW THEM OUT. THROW THE BUMS OUT."
Sgt Lopez at the Naval Base said, "Why are they planning to pull us out of here. The losses occurred in South America. What does that have to do with us? I will defer judgement on the political leadership, they work hard, I am here to serve. Thank you."
.
The CoC military is moving north of Hwy 14 advancing street by street with the BT forces searching each house, the attics, any false floors and doors, huts, garages, warehouses, store rooms, etc.
. There is a plan to move to the west along Hwy 14, then advance north and south in the similar search pattern to clear the area. No date has been set.
. Call went out to the various groups to discuss how to bring order back to Nouakchott, then bring services back. Ensure water functions properly and is clean, garbage and electricity is restored to all areas. Awaiting reply from the leadership of each group.

Nouakchott, Mauritania
"Charlie 15 Zulu, Charlie 15 Zulu.... this is Zulu 414 Omega, over."
"Zulu 414 Omega, this is Charlie 14 Zulu, over?"
Charlie 14 Zulu, we see some soldiers to the west just north and south of Hwy 14. Wearing Canadian Desert camo. LAV 3, LAV three vehicles moving behind the infantry sections. 2 miles west of Hwy 7. Scouting homes, buildings, moving cautiously. I will transmit the grid coordinates in a moment. Check to be sure that they are Canadians. Let them know we are here. Would hate to have a friendly fire. If those are Canadians, get their channel for direct communication. Over"
"Zulu 414 Omega, received transmission to check on identity of soldiers west of Hwy 7, north and south of Hwy 14, appear to be clearing buildings and homes, over."
"Charlie 15 Zulu,... correct, over and out."

The US has asked to use facilities in Romaniadom for the use of drones over the Black Sea and the region.

.
Betty Greatpen asked, "what is the purpose of this operation?" Reply by spokeswomen Sgt. Brownette of the CoC, "the US is and will be conducting training activities and perhaps watching people and activities of interest. The US State Dept has not informed us of any other purpose. Thank you."

Eastern Nouakchott, Mauritania
Call signs changed.
Call to the battalion in the field from HQ.... "Zulu Tango 14, Zulu Tango 14 come in, this is Hotel Queen 4, over."
"Hotel Queen 4, this is Zulu Tango 14, over."
"Zulu, we have tried to determine the identity of those soldiers you identified. Have you been able to identify them on your own? We have not received any helpful information. Over"
"Hotel Queen 4, we were able to determine that they are Canadian, during the few hours during the morning. We brought up 4 M1A1 AIMs with CoC flag flying. Slow advance. They were covered by the rest of the armored company. We were ready for any response that could have been adversarial. The guys were nice when we had discussion with the Canadians them. They did have a mission to secure the area. but there did not seem to be a real purpose provided. I like the look of the LAV 3 they were using. This is Zulu Tango 4, over."
Zulu, glad it worked out, date transmit your location and the Canadians on e-map. Keep eye on them, if they move update the e-map. This is Hotel Queen 4, over and out."
"Hotel Queen 4, this is Zulu Tango 14, over & out."

C'mon, Chris! The phonetic word for "Q" is "QUEBEC," not "Queen." That's why I gave you the reference.

News feed on CANN from WHOT.
Toronto
"This is Shelia, HEY guys. Have a lot of HOT news for you.
First, our station was acquired in a large network deal so we are in bed with the another news network. Out show is now Live Action News. But I am still here for you, okay...?"
. "Protests seem to be smaller today. Wonder if it was because of two generals being fired over their leadership in Africa and South America, respectively."
. "But many are saying that the Army Chief needs to get fired, too. He was overseeing these two and he did not do anything. He is married to one of the two generals' sister, so there are people in bed together in that arrangement, if you know what I mean. Some are also talking about the Defense Minister loosing his head since he is the civilian that leads the Defense Dept. We do not know what will happen next or when it will end. People are still upset."
"Next I have political and military consultant Glenn Rogers, retired Chief of the Canadian Military about 7 years ago. General, what should happen now, what do you expect to happen?"
Glenn replied, "Shelia thank you for having me here with you. It is always a pleasure to be with you. You mentioned that some of the protesters and others want a few more heads on the platter, so to speak. They are correct. I see at least one more head, but there should be 3, Army Chief, Chief of Staff and Defense Minister. They all need to go. They have lost the respect of the public, the public now knows who they are. These three have lost the leadership trust of the soldiers, certainly the combat soldiers. I tried to fire two of these when I was in command, they are political lackeys, yes men."
Shelia said, "General, so you think they need to clean house, that what it sounds like to me. Do you think that the protesters will go home if that happens?"
General Rogers answered, "That will certainly help, need to also pull the guys out of South America, not sure of the purpose being in Brazil, then Canada. Almost had the entire force wiped out. As it was about half did get wiped out. Fortunately the Commonwealth rescued and traded with some local militia or fighters to gain the release of some Canadian men. The CoC was huge help. But CoC was never really appreciated by this government when the various Providences had their own agenda prior to unification. But that is international politics. So getting rid of those 3 goons, errr... I mean dragoons and pull the men out of South America."
"What about the task force in Africa, in Mauritania? Didn't they loose a lot of men, too? said Shelia.
"Yes Shelia, they did. Canada is participating in a UIN Peace Keeping Mission. Guys are working with some others including Yer Bouti, ...."
Shelia interrupted, "not my booty"!!!
"No, no. the country of Yer Bouti, led by Shiek Yer Bouti, they have helped civilians, aid. The UK, the US have also provided aid, of course the Commonwealth of Chrisdom and several of the member Nations have provided aid and soldiers to try to restore order. Al-Kabab is a group of really bad people, evil I would say. So should Canada bring those guys back? They can, but if they stay, need to work with the other groups, other nations to work together to make progress. The leadership has been missing the mark."
"General, thank you for joining me on Live Action, I appreciate your comments, you insight and wisdom. Good night hope you enjoy the Live Action News," said Shelia.
Glenn as the mick was being turned of.. "would you like to join me for a dr"...ink later for some live action?
.
Mauritania
The battalion of Canadians are getting intel, and some support from the Commonwealth battalion including direct heavy fire support from the M1A1 Abrams. "The advance has worked very well working with these guys. Glad to have the Canadians next to use, they have a mission to help. We are able to coordinate our activities and responsibilities so we help each other out," said Capt Marco.
. The units advance north about 20 streets in the last 14 hours. Other CoC soldiers came from the east across Hwy 7 to swing around. Captured some Al-Kabab. The fire fights are becoming less common, their guys are running out of food or have run out of food. The scrounge in the houses harass the civilians. Communication has been reduced from Al-Kabab from jamming, from drone strikes, pin-point artillery strikes and the assault teams. Nouakchott has just over half the city under control or heavy influence of the CoC, the Canadian, Yer Bouti and others helping.
