scale tank antennae

Post by madman »

Back when I was a teen and new to this all I also wanted antennae on my armour. My solution was to pluck a few hairs, super glue them in place and trim to length. A quick brush of silver and I was done. Still have the tanks and they still have the antennae 46 years later.

Thanks Gunner who?!

Hi redleg, those helicopterss look great. And the bases are really the way to go. I tried a few different ways to get aircraft in the air and figured that my search was done when I saw that those stands/pegs with the magnets.

The infantry look good. Are you using pennies?

Thanks, Polish. Yes, I use pennies to mount my infantry. I put some gray pumice on the penny and then just stuff the figures down into it and they stick pretty well.

Those look great Chris.

The C130 is on the list of To Get for my Vietnam collection.

Need 2. This is great inspiration.

Nice buys there Chris. Not sure which make that one is.
If you do go looking for a C130 I would recommend the plastic model from F-toys of Japan.
Can be found on ebay or buy direct from Japan. I paid $5 each years ago, you can still find them for around US$10 today.

This is the same one with a MASH and HQ set up behind it last year.

I have a feeling a new airfield in Karma-Naskis is going to look very much the same, just a better QRA area.
