All blessings flow from a good mission statement.
Pogo was right. So was Ike.
"A Gentleman is a man who is only rude intentionally." (Churchill)

I know. Just having fun several of us here. A Very Large Bridge is the common one.
Surely you have quiz questions to challenge us.

A fancy military acronym for a multimeter.
We used to use the ones from advance auto parts to try and figure why the 2.75" FFARs wouldn't go whoosh.

You are kee-rekt! Low Voltage Circuit Tester, or, as we referred to it in the BMO course, Little Very Complicated Thing. It was the size of a television and on rollers.

The question the BMO asked the company commander is... "Has the crew released the track tension?". The company commander then asked the crew. A loud, disgusted, " S**T" exploded near the bridge. A little work with the Little Joe wrench retracted the compensating idler, permitting the fitting of the center guide and end connectors, and the track the was joined.
Next question... Your platoon of five tanks is moving forward cross-country unopposed using successive bounds. Explain movement by successive bounds.

That's what happens when your new 2nd Lieutenant doesn't jump up and down on the tank to test the shocks before you roll out of the motor pool!
I'll skip the bounding question to see if someone else knows it - here is an artillery question:
In a howitzer battery there is a dude that the artillerymen call "Smoke". What is his real position title?

A soldier lies in the field, several comrades dead around him. From the bone sticking through his blood-soaked khaki trousers, he knows he's not going to get up and go anywhere. The fighting has been ferocious, evidenced by the Queen's Colors half covered by the body of his friend. The fighting is still going on, but has moved away some distance and he can expect no assistance from his unit. To make matters worse, there is a group of Burkha -wearing women fast approaching. The situation is desperate, and in extremis, he recalls a passage of an article he read about what to do in just such a circumstance.
The passage is by a well-known correspondent of the time. According to that passage, what should he do?
