This is what I have been working on this week thus far … cool model - the Bergepanther. I kit bashed and added a few bits and parts (some you might even recognize from other kits), tries to make them look muddy and grungy, added a driver on one (didn't come out all that well). Not sure how I will use them on the table but cool eye candy!
Love the BergePanther! Never enough recovery vehicles around.
One cool scenario idea would be to have a disabled AFV out in the field in the middle of the table. You get a few AFVs, maybe some Panzergrenadiers to move out and support the disabled AFV and hold off any attacks while the Bergepanther moves out to the disabled vehicle, takes a turn or two to connect and then to drag it off the side of the map it entered.
Even if you give yourself lighter tanks like maybe some PzKw IIIs or IVs, you could gift yourself a Nashorn to play longbow archer/sniper against any Russian tanks charging. Cool way to sneak in a Nashorn as well. If you are playing with ammo rules, make sure the Nashorn has a support/ammo vehicle next door too! lol
We are all humble painters and I too have very limited time to get stuff done as of yet.. or is it that I am easily distracted.. Not sure which, or both.. LOL. No need to apologize on response time. We all get busy. Love your work and your Bergepanthers look amazing. I really need to do some washes on my stuff. I always get to a certain point and then stop before I wash them and seal them. I am definitely distracted by the next shinny object.
Your Test camo scheme made me want to post a similar scheme I did,. It actually has more Dark Yellow and less Green. I am not sure if I posted this pic before, but here it is again. Sorry if this is a re-post.
I currently have a company and a half painted up so that I have two full companies of BTR-80 and BTR-80As. Plus one and half companies of T-80Us. Need to get cracking on them. They have been sitting in base coat, only for about two months.
Thanks for your comments. I like the camo pattern colors. I spend way too much time scrolling through the internet trying to find unique schemes. That is not to say I don't do traditionally looking ones, but I do like having something different. Now if I can just focus on finishing them up. They need a wash and a dull coat to quite the shine down. Plus I have the rest to get through.. LOL..
BurtWolf,
Are those tarps made from Tinfoil?
Also, great work to all the other people that have posted. Regia-marina, PolishGI, Chrisswim and pvt64 all great stuff and keep posting.

Redleg,
Thanks on the comments, LOL.. Like I have told you before, i am an ** CENSORED ** engineer.. I have a spot on the surface that I spilled Lacquer thinner on. It whiped the lines, on the cutting Matt, right off in that spot. That was a couple of years ago and it still drives me nutz.. LOL

haha I second redleg's comment! lol My area looks like a tornado hit it. It also looks like I am trying to paint minis with my eyes closed and often miss.
lol
I need to do a better job. Or cheat and buy a new mat. lol
Hoty, your camo pattern does a good job disguising the features of your vehicles, confusing identification, but it is bright. You might want to tone it down a bit. It is very good.
my painting area looks like the range junkyard at Graf.

Give credit. Take responsibility.
I airbrushed the base coat, which is the dark yellow. Then I hand painted the green and the black contrast lines. I am in no way able to do any airbrush camo on miniatures.. Not even sure I could do it on larger vehicles. The green was thinned out just a skosh from out of the bottle to have it flow easier and not be a thick layer and cover up details. Its an art to get the right amount of thinning and not make it too watery.
