Just a quick post to show one of my current projects. These vehicles are a set of Marine MTVR Mark 23s. Currently only the base coat and the windows are done. Still need to do the Cargo Tarp, head and tail lights, 50 cal and some odd bits of detail.
Burtwolf,
You would be surprised. I have never used and airbrush before painting miniatures. I use it for base coats exclusively. I can base coat a ton of miniatures with multiple layers in record time. And because the paint is thinned and atomized it keeps slot of the detail visible. Then when you do camo your not getting too thick. PM me and I can send you the YouTube vid I used to start.
New pictures are up. Under the US Army tab are pictures of my Armored Cavalry Troops. M60A3 is by CnC, M113s are by GHQ and CnC. M106 and M901s are by GHQ. Under the Soviet Union tab in the Fixed Wing Section are pictures of my newly completed Mig-17 by Raiden.
Thanks Hoth! Sending you a PM now. That’s one reason I don’t do a lot of camo because my have painting obscures the details i like so much on the GHQ models.
Pvt that’s a great collection - nice work, thanks for sharing!
I have added pictures of the Mechanized Infantry Brigade-. Front two M577's are the Divisional and Brigade command vehicles with two infantry brigade vehicles behind them. M113 is mostly CnC with a single GHQ. M577, M106 & M901 all GHQ.
4/15/20: New update! I have added pictures of the Mechanized Infantry Battalion Attachments under the US Army TAB. All are by GHQ. Anyone noticing a trend in vehicles?
