Re: AARs: Show Us Yer Games!
Yes, that would be great Bill!
One thing I love on the forums is learning the different vantage points and processes that others use. If possible, I try to incorporate that into my own with the hope that I, myself, can get better and think outside my little box.
Very cool.

Chattanooga Campaign
Back in 2011 I ran The Shipwreck of Their Hopes: The Chattanooga Campaign with my 10mm figures at Historicon in Valley Forge, PA. The game won best of show and one of the people that came by several times to check on the game was Peter Cozzens, a guest of HMGS at the show and the author of the book I used as a guide to building the campaign. He even signed my copy of the book, which I brought along to the show. Here are a few shots of the various scenarios underway.
The Craven House on Lookout Mountain.
Yankees advancing up the steep slopes while Confederates fire down upon them.
Tunnel Hill.
Patrick Cleburne and his division await the Union assault on his position atop Tunnel Hill.
Sherman's assault on Tunnel Hill begins.
Missionary Ridge and the Valley. Lookout Mountain can be seen in the distance.
This is probably my favorite campaign of the American Civil War. I wrote these scenarios in 1999 and will eventually drag out the terrain, which spans over 30 feet and run the four scenarios again. They are Wauhatchie, Lookout Mountain, Tunnel Hill and Missionary Ridge.
Thanks for looking,
Bill Moreno

Bill your work is amazing! I've got to get to a con where you're running a game some day. Your terrain and troops are fantastical. Surely there are some museums that have your dioramas on display!

That Market Garden game looks spectacular. Great job, Bill! Your Chattanooga board as well as your other Civil War battlefield layouts are also really excellent as well.

Gorgeous tables Bill. I need those tables. But I have no space.

Wow Bill! How long does it take you to put together a force that looks that good?

I have been collecting 10mm ACW since 1993 or so. I play Fire & Fury both regimental and brigade. I think I have around 1,500 to 2,000 stands. That being said, I had enough figures and guns to run a convention game at Cold Wars 1994. I think it was Spring Hill, a scenario which I wrote.

Re: AARs: Show Us Yer Games!
The latest remote texting game was a bit of a disappointment. I was in the mood for a tank bash and I try to do a Kursk game every July-pushed back a month due to C19 and I just got around to editing the pics. It was based on the lopsided engagement in the area between Step' and Hill 227.9 on the morning of July 6, 1943 involving the 107th Tank Brigade and the StugIIIs of Stug. Abt 245 and off table Tigers of s.Pz. Abt 505.
I was afraid that it might be a bit of a blowout with the Russkies just providing moving targets. But we had some extreme dice rolling that made things just the opposite.

Re: AARs: Show Us Yer Games!
Just a quick AAR from play testing a scenario.
Short: Huey winged and needed to crash land. Closest squad changes direction and lands to assess crew health and defend area from VC coming to control the site.
VC open up and ending up hitting a crewmember which ultimately kills him.
Getting too close to the Huey
Rest of the pics are in the thread…
