The Turkish M48A5 version appears to be the best of the new M48 series.

Odd that Colossus is shown with Spitfires included as they wouldn't be able to operate from her. Seafires would be far more appropriate and would just require a change of caption! In reality, they operated with Barracudas and Corsairs during their brief operational period in WW2.

The Royal Canadian Navy operated Seafires from the decks of HMCS Warrior and HMCS Magnificent.

Yes, but they were paired with Fireflies, not Barracudas. Similarly, the British paired the Fireflies with Seafires, then Sea Furies so the pairing of Barracudas with Seafires was what they were designed for, not what they actually operated in any combat situation. Either way, an odd pairing and certainly not Spitfires!

Funny, considering that Canada did use the Barracuda up to 1948, when they returned Warrior to Britain along with those aircraft, it was only when HMCS Magnificent was commissioned is when we see the pairing of firefly's and Sea Fury's. Maybe when GHQ does the Majestic Class, they might do the post war pairing.

Probably not - that would require a new aircraft pack for the Sea Furies. Still, unlike GHQ to make errors like this!

Fabulous to see the Colussus class carrier done. My father served on HMS WARRIOR during the mid to late 1950s. Shame about the aircraft mix-up though; definitely should be Seafires. Will likely get four to represent the ships which made it to the Pacific before the end of hostilities, and maybe another to represent HMCS WARRIOR.

Now all we need its the post war angled deck reconstructions for the various ships of that class.
CVL Minas Gerais for Brazil.
CVL Valencia De Mayo for Argentina.
and CVL HMCS Bonaventure for Canada.

Hey Tim, sorry to change the subject, but I checked out your N Scale page for the Dawson's Creek Subdivision from the link. Totally awesome! The work you put into the layout itself and the rolling stock is fantastic, but the detail in the crew duties and operation is superb! Well done!
