It's a bit of a beast, isn't it? I don't know if I will ever find an occasion to bring it on to a game table -- maybe as a victory objective in a "defend the airfield" scenario? -- but I really find the model itself compelling. Every time I open my box of wargaming aircraft it calls out to me, and I have to take it out if just to look it over again for a moment....

Yeah I want to do a defend the airfield scenario but the terrain cost is prohibitive got me right now - figure a ton of GHQ hexes, the aircraft, buildings etc. and realistically it show be lightly held so the game shouldn’t be much if a coin toss unless it’s a commando raid.

I can see why you want to bust out the eye candy, it’s very cool!

Para drop on to enemy airfield? Or helo/glider landing (depending on period)?
