Splod,

Post a request for folks who no longer need their BRDM-1s. GHQ used to make 'em. Folks may sell 'em to you. I have had great success with discontinued items doing this.

You can clip the barrel of GHQ's M110A2 to make M110s. Alternatively, Legions4Hire in Canada makes the old CinC M110 and the M107. The chassis were the same and it was not unusual for M110s to get a replacement M107 barrel and vice versa.

Contact Chrisswim and see what he can do for these particular items. He may have some he's willing to part with until GHQ comes through.

I whole-heartedly agree!

I've just opened a pack of the ZSU-57-2 and was a bit blown away by how average the sculpt was. It's definitely showing it's age against newer releases. I found another hole in my collection over the weekend while converting a T-72 Bridgelayer to an MTU-20.

Cold War/Vietnam - Soviet/WarPac
MT-55 - T-55 based armoured vehicle-launched bridge (AVLB). Widely used by Soviet, WarPac and Arab forces from the 1960s to today. Bridge base is a two-part 'scissor' design.
MTU-20 - T-54/55 based AVLB. Widely used by Soviet, WarPac and Arab forces from the 1960s to today. Uses similar bridge to that found on GHQ's current T-72 bridge layer model, being a single span with folding ramps at either end.

NATO/US - C'mon, GHQ. We desparately need equipment add-on kits - duffel bags, backpacks, roadwheels, boot pairs, tarps, 5-gallon gas and water cans, extra machineguns. The kind of stuff ALWAYS seen hanging on tanks, IFVs, and APCs in the field. There are plenty of pics on the internet to get ideas from. I'd like to add searchlights to my M60 series, the CORRECT ones, in the CORRECT PLACE.

I'm with panzer. How hard would it be to make some amo crates, duffle bags, fuel cans, fuel drums, tank road wheels, lav 25 wheels, Stryker wheels and rolled tarps to attach to your tank. Maybe some up graded turrets that could be bought, for vehicles that the chassy did not change, like the M2a2 getting the same turret on the M2A3 without the reactive armor.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

French Mogador class Contre-Torpilluer. Six were planned, but only two were ever ordered and built, Mogador and Volta, but I guess you could paint the other four, they were named.

US - M48A1 w/55-gal drum rack. I've been holding off asking for this, and I know it goes against the current trend, but it is time for the M48A1. It must have the enclosed cupola and the 55-gallon fuel drum rack fixed to the stern. It can be used for US in the 50s and at least Jordan in the Middle East.

Whoa, I buy the Magach 3 to get M48A5. Clip the main gun 50cal, add M60mgs and I have M48A5. I like the turret shape of the current A5 model, except that there were only a few early A5s with the M1 cupola. The turret shape is better than the newest 48 models. The hull is the real problem. It's an A2 hull, which works for the Israeli first conversions, but they only had about ten finished in time for the '73 war.

I buy the CEV/AVLB pack and switch hulls of the CEV with M60A1/M60A3 to get blade tanks. I need two AVLBs for the H series tank battalion anyway. Two packs gives me the AVLBs I need plus 4 CEVs. Three are switched to give me the blade tanks I need for H series tank companies and one for the engineer battalion or four for a J series M60A3 bn. At any rate, that's how it works for me. The interim J series M60A3 bns lost their AVLBs, but they can go to the engineers.

You likely know this stuff, but I figured someone out there might not.
