Anyone else painting more these days?
Since Putin’s war started I notice I been painting a lot more and started to organize my troops.

I have been doing some painting myself most for the Canadian Armed forces (both real and their NC counterparts) and my 2 other Imagi-nation projects along side.

Have a bunch of US/German vehicles to paint as well as too many T-64/72/80/90+, BMP/BTR variants, some T-14/T-15 and more. At least the cleaning, gluing and priming is done.
Got a very nice paint brush holder from Ukraine before Russia's invasion started and a US-made nail polish/paint bottle rack. Mounting them on the wall soon.

Re: Anyone else painting more these days?
My painting has been almost non existent for the last three months or so. I have had some family related things that have needed my time and left me in sort of a painting funk. Nothing really bad just stuff.
Having said that, I am in the mood to get back into painting soon. I have some WWII vehicles that need attention and may get back to my Arab-Israeli and Cold War projects soon as well.

I’ve been painting less, the weather is getting really really nice here, too nice to stay inside. I’ve been outside, enjoying all of my outside hobbies, and only really painting early in the morning, or after dinner.

Re: Anyone else painting more these days?
Since my return from my 6 month work assignment, I have finally started to get back to painting things. With the run up to the temp assignment and winding down when I got back, I think its been over 8 months since I touched anything. What Putin's doing, has had little impact on my hobby desire.

I was inspired to buy a bunch of T84s, T64BMs, T90s and BMP 3s.
Here are the finished T84s and T64BMs
T90s and BMPs are still in the paint shed...

That's a fantastic bunch of work right there mate! It's a particularly nice shade of green against the snow too. Fantastic inspiration

As for my painting efforts, I've been really distracted from Microarmour lately. I've been painting a handful of 28mm fantasy figures for fantasy skirmish as it gives me variety and means I can focus on a single model at a time. I've got a handful of softskins and infantry on the bench for an Iranian Infantry Company though for when the mood strikes.

The tanks and terrain look great Cav Dog! We need to see some more pics!
My painting time has been pretty steady. I don't get any all-day painting adventures, but I do paint in the evening when the family is all settled in for a movie or news. I have a small painting lap table so I can knock out a few vehicles at a time and I get about 30 minutes to an hour in the evening several times a week.

Which translates to 'the winds of change are fickle'. It's still in the winds, but not currently on the workbench. Being back at uni even part-time has put a serious dampener on the amount of time I've got for hobby. What time I do have is either dedicated to a little painting, or working on my next Call of Cthulhu campaign
