Thanks fellas. Fortunately my photography skills don't show off all the flaws!

Re: Show us yer stuff!
That is quite an impressive group you have there, Redleg!
I was in 2nd ID in Korea in 1976-77. I was in 1/72nd Armor stationed at Camp Casey. Our tank battalion was part of 1st Brigade at the time and it was the only mech brigade in the division. We also had 2 mech battalions in the brigade as well. Our brigade was nicknamed "The Iron Brigade".
I'm sure things have changed a bit since I left about 45 years ago.

Hey Pete – there were some good times in Korea! 1st Brigade was still at Casey when I left in 1999. They had 1-72 AR, 2-72 AR, 2-9 IN, and 1-15 FA was their DS Paladin battalion. I don’t know what the brigade looks like now, but they were still the heavy hitters for the 2nd ID when I was there.
Whenever I had staff duty on a weekend night, I would get a high back HMMWV and drive up and down the road, from the main gate at Casey up through Hovey Cut and back, all night picking up the drunks that missed the last bus. It was entertaining and my only stipulation was that if they threw up in the back they had to hose it out. I never saw any KATUSAs making the Walk of Shame!
Have you ever read the book Proud Legions by John Antal? It was pretty OK if I recall. It was about a 2nd Korean War, but it focused on one of the US tank battalions. I don’t remember if it was 1-72 or 2-72.

My brothers were both in Korea mid-to late 70s. Both Infantry. Jack and Jeff Kilian. Jeff was a Lt, Jack a Captain, at the time. I never went to Korea. Just bounced between Germany and Stateside.
That's a nice collection, Redleg. You have been doing quite a bit of painting!

Re: Show us yer stuff!
Chris, the pivot to Asia has begun!
MBT are Type 99A with ZBD-08's as the IFV's. two Companies each of 14.
This is the first new Combined Arms Battalion (Heavy).
Don't worry lots more new stuff to come plus a large pile of older kit to get a lick of paint for the cause.
Oh look another box of my favorite arms supplier! More Types 99A's.

David, very nice SS 1 B battalion. Really admire the two trucks with cranes.
