Re: Show us yer stuff!
Those really are some beautiful airbirds there, Bill. And the photography is really well done -- very cinematic.
But you know, Bill, before you can fly P-40s around Tunisia, you have to get ashore and capture some airfields in Morocco.
So I'll see your Warhawks, and raise you some Speedy-Ds.
Here are a pair of my recently-completed SBD Dauntless dive bombers.
I painted them up in the colors used by VS-41 aboard USS Ranger during Operation Torch: Medium-blue uppers, and a yellow ring around the fuselage-side stars.
Time to go hunting for some tanks.
Although the disappointing thing is, that the tanks these birds got to hunt were neither German nor Italian ... but French.

Re: Show us yer stuff!
And in case anyone asks ... yes, the evidence from the terrain below them is that my SBDs are in fact flying around Tunisia, not Morocco.
As is evidenced by the Roman-era ruins.
This is a scratch-build I put together as a terrain scatter-piece for my Tunisian scenarios. Some years ago I set up a February 1943 battle game at Hir Moussa in the Ousseltia Valley. My research into the terrain around that battlefield showed Roman ruins just 2 or 3 Km outside of the town. I had nothing to put on the game board at the end of that particular dirt road.
Next time, I will!

Mk.1
Really like the SBD Dauntless Dive Bombers, that blue looks great. Also appreciate the ruins that you created.

Awesome idea Mk1, I bet it looks great in the board. Now that you've mastered that, how about scaled version of the ruins of Cassino??!!

Re: Show us yer stuff!
All Mk1 needs now is a couple of jeeps and a George S. Patton figure explaining the the battle fought at the ruin site.
Tactics are the opinion of the senior officer present.

I was going to work on some U boat pens today but I got side tracked a little.
Just for fun.
1/2400 scale nuclear research facility, complete with bunkers and probably a considerable undeclared underground addition.
Karmanaskis 'Atoms for Peace' program near the village of Thunberg.

Love that power plant! Nice terrain!
I think Chrisswim has the Stalingrad grain silos that Cama built … Mk1 you can be the next epic builder! Cassino or bust!

Great work you guys! I love the power plant Mick! Your terrain is awesome! Does that board slide in next to your port facilities? I look awesome!
Bill your Civil War miniatures and terrain always look fantastic! Even little details like the fence and the grass is exceptional!
