NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
I got an email from GHQ today with the new product list. vehicles are in "batches rather than by release-every-other-month. I understand they are trying to meet demand for the " special military operation" campaign, but I am, nevertheless, disappointed that we see neither the new US Marine amphibious landing vehicle nor the new US light tank. Given the timing, the light tank might be too much to ask, but not the Marine vehicle. The ONE item that may pull me out of my den is the Chapparal, M48. I need 24 of them for a division ADA battalion. That's kinda IT!
The silver lining is, of course, no new demands on the pocketbook, to speak of. I'm fairly committed to US and Brit stuff, with occasional French and German stuff coming up.
You wargamers anxious to jump into playing Ukraine vs Russia will be spending plenty of money getting up to speed.

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
Well Dude ,I’m in the same boat with you . I’ve got a slew of Chapparals from the “other guys” so I’m good to go there . The FH-70 may be the only other thing on the list I’ll get because I’ve been using the deployed M198 for my British 19th and 1st Mechanized Brigades as well as for my general support battalion in my Bundeswehr Panzer Battalion

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
By the way, Gator …..
The South Korean MLRS that’s mounted on the M-800 series five ton truck is become a great utility for my two Mech and one armored ROAD divisions . I’ve converted 15 of them into ribbon bridge carriers for my Echo Companies in my divisional engineer battalions . Another 10 created two companies in my Corps engineer brigade . I’ve also swapped their cab pieces for the M900 cab pieces on the wrecker model and scattered in some M800 wreckers amongst my vast collection of five tons .

A very good start for the modern Taiwanese Navy.

I like the BA-6 being offered and intrigued by British Heavy Weapons. Glad to see GHQ churning out more offerings even if some aren’t my cup of tea!

Roger, I like your thinking on the trucks. I need to look at those possibilities.

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
When it comes to new releases, it's going to be cheap. From the whole list, I want four things. Unfortunately, nothing from the Bundeswehr.
I would have bought a lot. But most of the money stays in my wallet.
That's it.
W128—2S25 Sprut-SD
W130—2A65 Msta-B
W132—BMP-2D
GEN28—Schnellboot, S-100 Type

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
I think that the batches are still going to be every other month. There are 4 batches listed but the fourth batch is made up of three different batches. I suspect that they should have been batches 4, 5, and 6. I could, of course, be completely wrong.panzergator wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 6:06 amvehicles are in "batches rather than by release-every-other-month.

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
Of the items announced the ones I'm interested are:
G607 SdKfz 9 FAMO 8cm Flak
UK122 Churchill VI
UK123 Heavy Weapons #2
R79 BA-6
R80 BT-7
It would be EXTREMELY nice if the Churchill pack contained a Churchill V turret.
Unless I've missed something, there looks to be only one aircraft release for the entire year (AC143 - MiG-31)

Roger, what TOE series are you using for your divisions?

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
Thanks to GHQ for putting out a new list of future releases.
The list has lots of interesting equipment for the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Good to see that Taiwan/China/South Korea/Japan options continue to grow.
Adding 5 modern naval ships was a pleasant surprise. The focus on the Taiwan navy was unexpected, and will bring some very useful ships. Good to see the Spearhead EPF and the Kidd DDG. Very nice to see GHQ adding a sixth navy. That gives me hope that they will eventually add the Indian and French navies as well.
Very good to see GHQ continuing to communicate its future plans.

I am happy to see more WW2 French ships with the new DD Bourrasque Class, but sad that we will still be missing the Japanese WW2 DD Akatsuki Class. Hope to see it in the future offerings.

I'm looking forward to GEN28, but other than that, I'm going all in with 3D prints.

Re: NEW LIST FOR UPCOMING YEAR
Hi guys !
For me, I'm very happy to see some 1/285 WWII news release because I really need them (...and had proposed them in my Wish list) :
- LVT(A)1, waterline
- LVT(A)4, waterline
- Russian M1937 ML-20.
I hope there will be a new model artillery tractor in this last pack and not a Stalinetz yet, but I don't really believe in it.
I need a lot of copies so these three news release are welcome.
UK Heavy Weapons #2 can also be very interesting.
Others WWII news release aren't bad but, for my part, I think I won't have the use of them :
- M4 Sherman w/M34A1 mantlet
- Russian BA-6
- SdKfz 9 FAMO 8cm Flak
- Russian BT-7
- M4 Sherman w/Bulged Turret
I 'm a little disappointed that there is still no US M54 heavy truck (without tarpaulin) for convoys in Vietnam. It will be for another time.
Finally, I'm so glad GHQ released some new stuff, hope everyone finds things to buy in this list.
All we have to do now is save money and wait for the release of these new packs as the months pass.
