Here's a quick photo of a couple of 3d prints from Shapeways. A VK30.02 (DB) the Daimler Benz prototype that lost out to the MAN design that became the Panther. Plus a Sd.Kfz 254 an Austrian design that could run on tracks or wheels.
Plus a few links to a few of my previous posts on this forum that show some of my stuff.
Nice work Gazza! I am intrigued by your use of wall filler for your infantry bases. I may need to look into that because I'm never very happy with how my infantry stands look.
BTW - I also do my fixed wing aircraft at 1/600 scale. I want to have enough aircraft for some decent size air battles, but at 1/285 scale that's just too expensive.
A few more photos of some WIP and recently finished aircraft.
A snapshot of the rather disorganised pile of stuff to the right of my desk (a couple of months back).
Twelve 1/600th Hadrian gliders that I painted for a mate. The first six have invasion stripes on the upper wings as I had a few decals left over after doing my 1/600th C-47s.
I'm currently painting 12 Horsa gliders for the same person. Below these you can see some of the M113s (and variants) of my '67-73 Jordanians.
Finally, for now, four photos of some Scotia Lancasters with Grandslam bombs. Decals by Scale Specialties.
Here's a quick shot of company of WW2 Soviet naval Infantry I finished recently. The figures are by the UK-based company 2D6 Wargaming. I've just sent off for a company's worth of their Fallschirmjagers.
I have a need for M88s for several of my projects, but the M578s that come with them get no love in my collection. In an effort to remedy that situation, if just a little bit, I have prepared a recovery medley with several different paint jobs. They will be joining the official inventory tonight: green vehicles to Task Force Grizzly and the tan vehicles to Task Force Nomad.
Gazza your aircraft look great! I really like the gliders! I bought the same naval infantry, but haven’t started them yet. What was your painting scheme?
Chris and Red, great looking stuff as well. Thanks for posting.
