Pack Question: M151A2 / M825 MUTT - SAW & TOW

Post by Splod »

Does anyone know how many TOW launchers are in the M151A2 / M825 MUTT - SAW & TOW pack?

I'm looking to make some M150 for my 1980s IDF but I'm not a massive fan of the details on the actual M150 pack. I'm hoping there are at least four launchers in the MUTT pack for my idea to work.

++ EDIT ++
Gah! I hesitated too long and the Zelda moved off the Web special :(
Reckon GHQ will still honour it on the grounds I was being indecisive? :roll:

Splod,

I wish I would have seen this earlier. The pack you asked about has 4 TOWs. I used them to replace the TOW launchers on my HMMWVs.

Thanks for your response! No worries about the timing, the sale expired about two hours after I posted :roll:

The information is still useful. I'll just have to pay a bit further down the line! Four launchers means I can convert up two M150 for my IDF, and still have two M151A2 with TOW for Mechanised Infantry or Paratrooper battalions.

Yeah, I think I'll go with the M151A2 pack. I feel the TOW is a nicer model, and will look less out of place slapped on top of an M113.

Panzer,

Yes, HMMWV with a TOW. They look super cool. I know they are paper thin on armor but they look cool. See below.

Here is some of the HMMWVs that I put together.

I love the TOWs from that pack. I am going to use them exclusively from now on. I need to buy Some more of the TOW sprues so that I can put TOWs on my MUTTs and have extra for future kit bashing.

This might be a better picture even though it has other vehicles in it
