Welcome tankers! Just a few more companies yet to arrive and move into their motor pools. Each 10-tank company has it's own secure motor pool with maintenance building. We are also providing a secure, fenced in area for the Avatar Ale!
Make yourselves at home today. Feel free to see the sights in the ROD, just remember that the strippers don't really love you. Tomorrow we will hold the official welcome ceremony with a BBQ and concert - one last chance to relax before the competition begins on Monday morning!
The 31.Brigata Carri Armati has arrived on the island, with the M26s and Lancia 3Ros moving up the Road, the Commander of the Company, Captain Romeo Fugini is following behind in his 1986 Ferrari F40 Sports Car.
The Royal Canadian Dragoons are at the motor pool now. this company is under the command of Captain Joe Mcdavid.

Welcome one and all! Beautiful tanks, gentlemen! They certainly look impressive, but how do they perform? We will find out this week! Enjoy yourselves this afternoon and tonight, but don't overdo it! All 100 tanks will be in action tomorrow doing either driving or gunnery courses!
This afternoon enjoy the various grilled meats and a selection of cold beverages at Tread Head Park. We will have a large selection of imported and domestic beers, but the Avatar tankers are expected to have the biggest crowd. Country music star Lonesome Joe will be performing at 1500 local time, and then rock band Smegma Bomb will take the stage at 1900!
Hi Mike, 73rd Battalion is a unit of 7 Brigade which carries on the famous and slightly manic traditions of the old Northland Regiment.
Although made up of mostly part time soldiers they take their tanking very seriously. It is in effect a retirement drinking club of 71st and 72nd Battalion former full timers.
Funding cuts to the reserve units have taken its toll on the units official band, however the honorary Pipes & Drums always accompany deployments. Local town near Armadillo Barracks!

POP Camp
The Tank crews from both POP units remain at the POP Camp, to listen to uplifting speeches that will help them go through the coming events. Praising them for being able to participate in the Tankers Ball, and the NC crews to have the honour to demonstrate the power and might of the KF-51 Panther in the Competition. They will be invincible.
