Paul, it is great to hear from Dave at I-94. I remember going to Historicon back in the late 90s and early 2000s and always stopping by to see Dave at his booth in the dealer room. We would talk about decals and micro armor and we have built up something of a rapport over the years. I have used his decals on quite a number of my models and appreciate his work.

It has been a couple of weeks since I have posted here. Last week I finished the first 5 GHQ M4 Shermans. With the M4, GHQ has virtually all of the major Sherman types as well as many of the sub-types and variants.

I am getting ready to do some West Front scenarios using the Mein Panzer rules set in Normandy and beyond. These M4s as well as the M4A1s were the major U.S. tank types in Normandy.

Your M4s look terrific! I especially like your rendering of the running gear, and the rubber cover of the track links. Been in Normandy, they look exactlyy like that.

Beautiful tanks indeed. One tone camos are not that easy to make come to life, and you did it very well.
Normandy still has a lot of WW2 stuff. I was joking that if you gathered all the AFVs from the various museums there, you would easily have enough for an armoured division. Indeed, it's modeller's (and a wargamer's) paradise.

I have done a fair number of vehicles that are a single color. They are of course easier to paint than German 3 color camouflage but I do enjoy painting both.

I remember seeing a video taken on the June 6th anniversary a couple years ago showing a parade of different WWII American vehicles going done the street of a French town. It was really inspirational to see how many and what types there were that were running.
