While New Canada’s Humanitarian Aid Fleet continues its bureaucratic process of calculating the logistics of how much aid to deliver to YBC. New Canada is flying a delegation over to Yer Bouti City to hopfully end the civil war with a issuing of a ceasefire between the Pro Shiek Forces and the Nationalist government, in a effort to bring our humanitarian aid though to combat the Ebola outbreak. The RPNW has reviewed the ongoing situation and is shocked at the violation of international norms and laws. The use of lethal methods to subdue and confine a civilian population seems like a way to subjugate the population into submission. Seems like heavy handed and draconian tactics of a failed state dictator that is sanctioned by nations like the NC. The RPNW upholds its stance that the NC has earned its status as a pariah state.
After receiving the Ceasefire call from NC over the phone. both Sides in the Yer Bouti Civil War agreed to stand their forces down. And NC also issued a warning to the Nationalist Government about a potential Ottawa Treaty violation. And recommended a to cease the operation in the Butlins at once. The ceasefire meeting will begin at the former shiek palace in YBC.
with the ceasefire talks in progress at the Former Sheiks palace. the NC red cross ship lifesaver returned back to Yer Bouti City to restart the Bureaucratic process of delivering aid to YBC and potentially the surrounding area. due to the delay it will take another month or two before Aid deliveries will begin.
An investigation team will be sent to Yer Bouti to find any alleged violations of the Ottawa Treaty.
After initial ceasefire talks has concluded, its on to the terms of the ceasefire, New Canada demands the former Sheik Yer Bouti to pay reparations for the damages done using the money he stole from the Bank of Yer Bouti before he fled the capital, $7,000,000 to the New Canada Red Cross for the delay in brining Aid to the fleet, and the rest returned to the BOYB (Along with its furniture). To help the current Nationalist government bring the country's economy back on track. In exchange the former Sheik will keep control of Kabab province as a governor in ensure the area will remain stable. NC Observers will be in the country to ensure the ceasefire holds.
Meanwhile The Bureaucrats from the NCRC has ran into a snag in the planning process, more aid ships and personal will be needed to help deal with the whole nation of Yer Bouti, plus to contain the Ebola virus in the Butlins.
